PANDEMIC CANCELLATIONS, DRAGON GATE, FREEDOMS AND MORE FROM JAPAN

New Japan Pro Wrestling has cancelled its three Road to Wrestle Grand Slam tour shows on May 8, 10 and 11 in Korakuen Hall.

New Japan held its twelfth Road to Wrestling Dontaku tour show today in Hiroshima Sun Plaza Hall.

The full results were:

• El Desperado, Minoru Suzuki and Yoshinobu Kanemaru def. SHO, Tiger Mask and YOH
• DOUKI, Taichi and Zack Sabre Jr. def. Jado, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa via DQ
• Dick Togo, EVIL, Gedo, Taiji Ishimori and Yujiro Takahashi def. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Master Wato, Ryusuke Taguchi and Toru Yano
• Jeff Cobb and Will Ospreay def. BUSHI and Shingo Takagi
• SANADA def. Aaron Henare
• Tetsuya Naito def. Great-O-Khan

Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS

Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS has slightly altered the card to its show on May 5 in Yokohama Radiant Hall.

The updated card is:

• Daisuke Masaoka and Takahiro Katori vs. Dragon Libre and Mammoth Sasaki
• GENTARO, Kengo and Yuya Susumu vs. Minoru Fujita, Rina Yamashita and Tomoya Hirata
• UWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship: Kamui (c) vs. Tatsuhito Takaiwa
• No Disqualifications: Kenji Fukimoto vs. Masashi Takeda
• Hardcore: Jun Kasai, Takashi Sasaki and Toru Sugiura vs. Takayuki Ueki, Toshiyuki Sakuda and Violento Jack

Kamui will attempt his first defense of the UWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship against Tatsuhito Takaiwa.

FREEDOMS has also announced the full cards for its shows on May 16 in Sendai PIT and May 27 in Shin-Kiba 1st Ring. The full cards are:

Dragon Gate has announced the full card for its final The Gate of Passion 2021 tour show on April 29 in Kimassi Kanazawa.

All Japan Pro Wrestling

All Japan Pro Wrestling has officially confirmed CIMA will attempt his third defense of the World Junior Heavyweight Championship against Koji Iwamoto at the company’s show on May 16 in Ota Ward Gymnasium.

In addition to CIMA’s title defense, El Lindaman, Issei Onizuka and T-Hawk of #STRONGHEARTS will also wrestle on the show.
