Former WWE star Big Cass, now going by Caz XL, is set to make his Impact Wrestling debut imminently per Inside The Ropes’ Gary Cassidy.
The timing of the news comes on the day of Impact’s Rebellion pay-per-view, headlined by Kenny Omega versus Rich Swann with both the AEW World Championship and Impact World Championship on the line.
Cass could debut as soon as tonight’s show according to Cassidy’s report, which can be read in its entirety here.
Cass is best known for his work in WWE, successfully teaming with Enzo Amore in NXT and on the main roster before tearing his ACL and briefly feuding with Daniel Bryan before his release in 2018.
Since his release, Cass has wrestled for Doc Gallows’ Lariato Pro Wrestling and Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore companies – potentially giving him links to some of Impact’s current stars.
Note from Mike Johnson: We can confirm Cass is backstage at Rebellion.
