Steve cut off the momentum and quickly tagged out to Black Taurus. Decay worked over Anderson. Taurus powerslammed him and elevated Steve onto Anderson for a two count.
Taurus worked over Anderson's arm but Gallows tagged in. They battled back and forth. Gallows got the better of the exchange and sent him into the buckles. Your winners, The Good Brothers!
Karl Anderson took the mic and said 2020 was a terrible year for a lot of people but it was the best year The Good Brothers ever had. He said that maybe they got a little too cocky and comfortable and thanked FinJuice for waking them up. The only thing that matters is them reclaiming the tag team titles. Gallows said they confused the Good Brothers having a good time for them losing a step. He thanked them for pouring gas on an unbridled fire. They hope they enjoyed the title belts because they are taking the belts back at the PPV.
D'Lo Brown and Matt Striker discuss the Rebellion PPV.
They aired a video package on the main event with talents predicting who would walk out the champion.
The usual great Violent by Design video package from Eric Young, discussing his recent storyline with James Storm was next.
Susan with Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo vs. Tenille Dashwood with Kaleb with A K.
They locked up with a double knucklelock. Susan tripped Dashwood's leg but Dashwood grabbed her in a headscissors. Susan fought her way out but was snatched in an armwringer, which was then transitioned into a hammerlock. Susan regained control as they went to commercial. Susan continued working her over when they returned and locked on a full nelson. She scored several two counts. Kaleb began yelling at Susan to distract her. Dashwood got in her face and they argued. They began firing back and forth with forearms. Dashwood snapped her into a double underhook suplex into the buckles for a two count.
Susan made a comeback but was caught and snapped with a neckbreaker in the ropes. Dashwood nailed the Spotlight Kick and scored the pin.
Your winner, Tenille Dashwood!
Dashwood took the mic after the win and praised her own win. She asked Deonna if she just saw what she did. Purrazzo took that as an invitation to enter the ring. Tenille said she's had an impressive run but when you look at the bigger picture, Dashwood is bigger than her and more influential. She said that Deonna wouldn't be standing there in the ring now without everything she's done for the women's wrestling world. She told Purrazzo to shine the title up for the photo shoot Kaleb has set for her title win. Purrazzo walked out.
Backstage, Brian Myers cut a promo about Matt Cardona.
Myers said that in life and pro wrestling, he kept evolving and growing but Cardona is still lost and thinks he's owed something for a successful YouTube series from a decade ago. Myers has grown and Cardona thinks he's owed something. Myers moved on and Cardona showed up. He sees clearly and he sees that Cardona needs to be taken care of at Rebellion.
More promotional hype for the main event with talents talking up the Rebellion main event.
Sami Callihan hacked in. He said he saw something in Trey Miguel but Trey threw it all away. Sami has to make an example out of him at Last Man Standing. He said Trey has a date with the death machine. He's not going to give Trey the chance to get back up on his feet and show the world he has a little bit of passion. He's going to make sure Trey never walks again.
Mahabali Shera with Rohit Raju vs. Jake Something.
They go right at it with Shera pounding away on Jake's back and nailing a running clothesline in the corner. He smashed away at Jake and worked him over in the corner. Shera lifted and slammed Jake, then scored a big elbowdrop for a two count. It was all Shera as he continued to beat over Jake in the corner with knees. He smashed Jake into the buckles, running him across the ring. Jake finally kicked off several charges and took Shera down with some hard shots, culminating with a discus clothesline.
Something nailed a shoulder tackle in the corner and hit a Michinoku Driver. Rohit Raju distracted the referee. Jake went to intercede but Raju caught him and nailed a Sky High for the pin.
Your winner, Mahabali Shera!
They went to Trey Miguel at his training school. He said Sami has done everything he can to disrespect him and their school. Miguel asks why he has to prove himself to Callihan of all people. He was told he didn't have to prove anything to Sami but he needs to show the world what he's made of. Trey said he was going to rip Callihan's legs off and mount them on the wall. They showed a training montage of Miguel preparing for the Last Man Standing match.
They aired a preview for the X-Division title match at Rebellion.
Impact Wrestling and TNA Champion Rich Swann came to the ring for a promo. He said last week, Kenny Omega, who's supposed to be the best, put his hand out to Swann. Rich looked at that hand and made a mistake. He looked down at Omega's hand and Kenny slapped him. He dared Omega to come to the ring right now and try to do it again. Omega and Don Callis appeared on the video screen, saying they couldn't be in the building tonight. They said they don't need to be there because they'll be gracing the Impact show every week as the reigning AEW & Impact Champion. Omega said you would think all his titles would make you think he has a right to his ego. He asked how bad that ego will be when he adds another championship to that collection. He's adding so much gold, he's going to need another house in another country with another Swiss bank account. They warn everyone in advance what is going to happen. At Rebellion, that will be Rich Swann's last day as champion but another step in the world takeover career of Kenny Omega.
They disappeared, leaving Swann in the ring shaking his head.
Moose's music began to play and he came out on the stage. He walked to the ring with a mic. He said he was here to congratulate Swann. He had a long time to think about what happened at Sacrifice. He showed him his hand and as a true World Champion, he took advantage of him, so congratulations. He is here tonight to give Swann some advice. He's going to face someone who calls himself the God of professional wrestling at Rebellion. Swann should be prepared since he already faced the Wrestling God, Moose. He said Omega may have pinned Swann, but who really hurt him and showed him what pain is? They both know the answer to that question. Moose said he's bigger, faster and more skilled than Kenny Omega, but Omega has something that Moose didn't have - three stooges that will do whatever Omega tells them to do. Moose told Swann good luck at Rebellion. He advised Swann he had better not lose those titles to Omega or he'll be paying the ultimate in consequences to Moose.
Moose walked out. Swann told him he'll win the AEW title at Rebellion and then he'll have no problems pinning Moose again.
More talent talking up the main event.
They aired another promotional video for the return of Taylor Wilde.

Grace still nailed a muscle buster and went for the pin but Steelz hit the ring to attack her.
Your winner by DQ, Jordynne Grace!
They worked over Grace until former WWE developmental star Rachael Ellering, the daughter of Paul Ellering, hit the ring to make the save. Ellering is Jazz's hand-picked partner. Grace said they are more than ready to take the titles and shut them up.
The Impact+ Flashback moment was last year's X-Division title bout at Rebellion.
Impact Tag Team Champions FinJuice sent a promo from Japan, mocking The Good Brothers' promo from earlier in the night. They are the best team in the world and they will prove it at Rebellion.
They aired a history package on the Rebellion PPV main event.
Matt Striker and D'Lo Brown discussed the remainder of Wrestleweek.

Young nailed him and Edwards fell, leg getting trapped in the ropes before being knocked to the floor. Young worked over Edwards on the floor. He tossed Eddie back in.
