MLW FUSION REPORT: DOES THE STUDENT BEAT THE TEACHER?, HAMMERSTONE MAKES A STATEMENT, MLW RETURNS IN FRONT OF CROWDS ON AN IMPORTANT DAY, AND MORE

We start off with a look at the feud between Bu Ku Dao and TJP.

We are in Orlando, Florida and your announcers are Ray Flores and Jared St. Laurent.

Match Number One: Rocky Romero versus Gino Medina

They lock up and Medina with a waist lock but Romero with a wrist lock. Medina with a reversal and take down. Romero with a drop kick. They go to a wrist lock and Medina with a hammer lock into a side head lock. Medina with a shoulder tackle. They lock up and Romero with a drop toe hold. Romero goes for a cross arm breaker but Medina blocks it by clasping his hands. Medina with a front face lock.

Romero with an arm bar and elbow to the arm. Romero continues to work on the arm. Romero with a wrist lock and he goes to the turnbuckles and drops a knee on the arm. Romero with an arm bar. Romero with a wrist lock and Medina with a forearm. Romero with a forearm and Medina fires back. They continue to go back and forth.

Medina with a rake of the eyes and an enzuigiri for a near fall. Medina with punches and Romero punches back. Medina stomps on the hand. Medina sends Romero into the turnbuckles and he kicks Romero and gets a near fall. Medina with more punches and Romero with a forearm. They go back and forth with more forearms and Medina gets the advantage. Medina stomps on the hand again. Medina with a chop.

Romero and Medina exchange forearms again. Romero wit a kick and forearm. Medina with a forearm and an arm bar. Romero with forearms and Medina fires back. Romero with a thumb to the eyes and then Medina goes through the ropes to the floor when Romero moves. Romero with a baseball slide.

Romero sends Medina back into the ring and he chops Medina. Romero with kicks and forearms to Medina and he follows with a missile drop kick to the back while Medina is in the ropes. Romero gets a near fall. Romero goes for an Acid Drop but Medina sends Romero into the turnbuckles. Romero with a European uppercut followed by the infinity clotheslines. Medina with a kick and he gets a near fall. Medina with a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Romero misses an enzuigiri but hits a back heel kick.

Romero with a kick and he goes for an Acid Drop and Medina with snake eyes. Romero with a jumping knee and a tornado DDT. Romero with a suplex into a cross arm breaker and Medina taps out.

Winner: Rocky Romero

We go to Richard Holliday with Alicia Atout.

Richard talks about the consumer ninos and he says they are babyfaces. He says they love him. He shows Alicia a poster for Muscle Mountain and she brings up the location of the hammer in relation to Hammerstone’s body. Alicia says she is trying to help him out but Richard says that she is not trying to help and he leaves.

We go to Los Parks.

They say they don’t agree with Salina going against El Jefe. You did not believe in us but we still won. You have been successful due to us. You have profited from our success. He mentions the bad decisions that Salina has made. He says that Salina is known in the US and Mexico because of him.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we are told that there is now a Championship Committee to provide us with the best matches possible.

Lio Rush is with Alicia Atout to respond to Myron Reed’s challenge.

Lio says he bet Myron would want a rematch, especially after the way he lost when he beat Reed for the title. It is not going to happen. He asks Alicia what time is it. Alicia gives him the actual time and Lio says it is Rush Hour. The championship is staying around this shoulder.

Match Number Two: King Mo versus Robert Martyr

Mo with a waist lock and Martyr gets to the ropes. Martyr with a triangle but Mo picks up Martyr and hits a one arm power bomb. Mo backs Martyr into the corner. Mo throws Martyr to the mat and he applies a cravate and he chokes out Martyr and he taps out.

Winner: King Mo

After the match, Dan Lambert takes the mic and he asks if he has to stand here and say how beneath him it is to have some 15 year old make someone a referee. When that was for a submission. Dan says that Mo did not tap and he has never tapped. He is not going to start in MLW, especially not against someone like Low Ki.

Mo says they don’t tap. He says he will break Low Ki in half.

We take a look at Salina de la Renta in the parking lot and she is asked about El Jefe.

Salina gets a call and she is very humbled. She says she will get whatever he wants done for him. She says she will be there. She makes a face at the phone and then the assistant pushes the camera away.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we are told that MLW is coming to Vice TV.

We take a look at the issues between Team Filthy and the Von Erichs.

Tom Lawlor says the Von Erichs and the people out there cannot keep their mouths shut when it comes to Tom Lawlor. He has been called a liar, jealous, and a coward. None of that could be further from the truth, other than calling the Von Erichs good people. I brought them to MLW and I know what they are truly about. They can pull the wool over everyone’s eyes. I am sick of trying to explain myself. Marshall Von Erich, why don’t you consult with Ross and Kevin and whoever is left in your family and ask if you have what it takes to man up and face me one on one? Are you going to be the one hiding behind a bum knee to get out of a fight? If we go at it mano y mano, you will be exposed as just a boy.

Alicia Atout is with CEO Court Bauer.

Alicia brings up the Vice deal. Court says the world of MLW never stops. He says that MLW will no longer be the biggest secret. They will debut on Vice in May. He says he has other announcements.

Alicia asks about upcoming events. Court says they have a World Middleweight Title Fight on May 5th between Lio Rush and Myron Reed. Court says that Reed wanted to finish with Contra Unit before he got his rematch.

Alicia asks what Court meant when he said ‘close out the season’. Court says he wants to give the fighters some time to rest and prepare their fight camps. MLW will return to have live shows starting on July 10th in Philadelphia, the home of the first MLW show in 2002. He says tickets are now available. He says he is excited to have the fans back.

Contra Unit suinterrupts the feed and Josef Samael says Mr. Bauer is so full of hope and so full of delusion. It’s almost been a year since you bled and begged before me in your office. Did you think I wouldn’t leave the back door open? I can walk back in whenever I wish. This league can be mine with the snap of my fingers. Chaos is a ladder that you are losing grip on. Hammerstone was once a force in MLW, now he is crippled by terror. He knows what is waiting in the shadows. While Fatu sits on his throne for two years. A God of War who no man can beat. We are back and we go to Marshall Von Erich.

Marshall says he has wanted to get Tom one on one for a long time. Ever since Tom attacked my knee in 2019, I have been waiting to get you. I haven’t forgotten what you have done. I knew that I was the silver bullet to take out Jacob Fatu. You are a liar. I don’t need a good knee to take care of you. I will stick this claw on your head and I will squeeze you until you pee your pants. When I lock it in, you will black out and crap your pants. Then I win the match. I’ll see you next week.

We go to Myron Reed. He says he has to give a big shout out to Calvin Tankman to invite him to Indianapolis to train him. Lio is running his mouth about winning the first time. I know what to do to win and I am training every day. When we step in the ring for the second time, I am scouting and studying you. I will shut you up and I will become Middleweight Champion again.

Match Number Three: Bu Ku Dao versus TJP

Dao with some swings and then TJP blocks a kick and sends Dao to the mat. They have a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and TJP with an Achilles lock. Dao with a front face lock into a side head lock. Dao with a side head lock take down and TJP with a rollup for a near fall. TJP gets Dao up but Dao with a flying mare. TJP with a head scissors. TJP with a side head lock take down and Dao with a head scissors.

TJP with a headstand to escape and he works on the leg and applies a bow and arrow. Dao with a lateral press for a near fall. Dao with a drop kick and an arm drag that sends TJP to the floor. Dao goes to the apron and he kicks TJP but TJP pulls Dao off the apron. TJP sends Dao into the apron. TJP sends Dao back into the ring and TJP with a back elbow.

TJP with a knee to the back and he gets a near fall. TJP with a slam followed by a slingshot senton for a near fall. TJP backs Dao into the corner. TJP gets Dao up but Dao with an arm drag. TJP with a back elbow. TJP rakes the face with his boot and TJP with an arm bar and he has the legs trapped. TJP stretches Dao. TJP with a hammer lock using the leg and he hyper-extends the other arm. TJP kicks Dao in the corner.

TJP with a back breaker and he gets a near fall. TJP gets Dao up for a Gory Special into a bridge for a near fall. TJP gets another near fall. TJP with a kick to the chest followed by a European uppercut. TJP kicks Dao in the corner. TJP with an Irish whip but Dao gets to the apron on a charge. Dao with a kick from the apron and TJP with a shoulder. Dao goes up top and he hits a cross body for a near fall.

TJP with a power bomb for a near fall. TJP returns to the ankle and he applies a surfboard. TJP gets a near fall.

TJP with an Irsih whip but Dao gets his feet up. TJP with an elbow and chop. TJP stands on the hand and he stretches Dao. Dao with an enzuigiri and he hits a suicide dive. Dao sends TJP back into the ring and hits a flying shoulder tackle and a drop kick. Dao with a facebuster and a bulldog. Dao with forearms and punches to TJP. Dao with an Irish whip and an elbow into the corner. Dao goes to the turnbuckles and TJP with a drop kick as Dao comes off. TJP with a double knee gutbuster for a near fall. TJP goes up top and Dao stops him and hits a press slam. Dao goes up top and TJP stops Dao. TJP with a superplex and he holds on and rolls through for an abdominal stretch.

Dao is able to get to the ropes to force the hold to be released. TJP with a punch and European uppercut. Dao with forearms and punches. TJP gets Dao up and TJP swings Dao and the referee goes down. Dao with a crucifix but the referee is down and cannot make the count. Dao checks on the referee and TJP with a knee to the back that sends Dao into the turnbuckles. TJP puts Dao on the turnbuckles. Dao pushes TJP off the turnbuckles and Dao with a tornado flatliner for the three count.

Winner: Bu Ku Dao

We go to Alexander Hammerstone. He is asked about the challenges he has made. He says he is sick of two singles champions in MLW and the debate over who is the best. They can settle it in the ring. The ball is in your court. It is as simple as that.
