Tomoaki Honma, SHO and YOH vs. Minoru Suzuki, Yoshinobu Kanemaru and El Desperado. Suzuki-Gun attacked at the bell focusing on Honma. SHO made the tag in for the save. Kanemaru and Desperado attacked both SHO and YOH. Kanemaru trapped YOH in a figure four leg. Desperado locked Numero Dos on SHO. Honma hit a Kokeshi on Kanemaru to make the save. YOH pins Kanemaru with a roll up and bridge. Kanemaru looked disgusted with himself for losing the match. Both teams talked trash as they left the ring.
DOUKI, Zack Sabre Jr. and Taichi vs. Jado, Tanga Loa and Tama Tonga. Jado attacked DOUKI with his kendo stick as the introductions were done. They fought all around ringside. Wild match. Back in the ring, G.O.D. focused on DOUKI and beat him down. DOUKI made the hot tag to Taichi who attacked Tama Tonga and began choking everyone. All six men ended up fighting in the ring. ZSJ caught Jado in an arm submission and Jado tapped out. The fight continued after the belt. Tanga Loa challenged Zack Sabre Jr to a singles match. That will be a good match. It may take place on the same event that Tama Tonga faces Taichi in a ladder match for the Iron Finger.
YOSHI-HASHI, Tomohiro Ishii, Hirooki Goto, Toru Yano and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Gedo, Taiji Ishimori, Yujiro Takahashi, KENTA and EVIL Tanahashi started the match with Gedo. Tanahashi attempted to hit a Bladerunner which the announcers called an “Acerunner”. EVIL and Yano did some comedy spots with the black hood. All ten men fought all over ringside. Too much happening here. Goto and YOSHI-HASHI hit GYW on Gedo and get the pinfall win. Good match. Everyone in the match had a chance to shine. Hiromu Takahashi joins the Japanese commentary team at ringside.
BUSHI and Shingo Takagi vs. Jeff Cobb and Will Ospreay. Ospreay and Takagi started the match off. BUSHI ended up tagging in and took a beating. The pace of the match picked up. This is awesome. This pairing of both teams was great because there was right balance of speed and power between both teams, which made for a good match. Ospreay hit a Chelsea Grin then a Storm Breaker on BUSHI for a pin and win. The chemistry between Cobb and Ospreay is great. They looked like tag team Champions. Ospreay saw Hiromu Takahashi at ringside and started teasing him that he had a fat belly.
SANADA and Tetsuya Naito vs. Aaron Henare and Great O-Khan. Henare came to the ring first. O-Khan came to the ring without his Question mark Mask. I am not sure why. SANADA and Naito get to the ring. Naito tells Hiromu to open the ropes for him. Hiromu sprays the ropes and anything he touches with sanitizer and helps Naito in the ring. Funny. O-Khan and Henare attack immediately. United Empire attacked the right leg of Naito. Naito got beat down in this match. Another wild match. Too much to recap here. SANADA had Henare in Skull End. O-Khan hits the Eliminator on SANADA. Henare hits Streets of Rage (Death Valley Driver) on SANADA and gets the pin. United Empire wins two in a row.
Wow! The last two matches were really good.
O-Khan takes the mic to address the crowd at Korakuen. Naito sticks around to listen. O-Khan gets face to face with Naito. Naito chuckles to himself and leaves. My hat is off to Los Ingobernales de Japon. They made United Empire look really strong tonight.
