WWE 205 LIVE REPORT: TWO MATCHES AND A RECAP OF WEDNESDAY . . . AS IS TRADITION

We are at the Capitol Wrestling Centre and your announcers are Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness.

Match Number One:  Jake Atlas versus Ashante Thee Adonis

Adonis with a kick to the arm.  Adonis with another kick to the arm.  Atlas blocks a kick and applies a wrist lock and he works on the arm.  Atlas with an arm bar.  Adonis tries to escape but Atlas holds on to an arm bar.  Atlas with an arm drag into an arm bar.  Atlas gets Adonis to the mat.  Atlas misses an arm drag when Adonis holds on to the ropes.  Adonis with a knee to the ribs.  Adonis and Atlas miss punches.  Atlas lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex but Adonis with a knee.  Adonis with a shoulder in the corner.

Adonis with a European uppercut and chop.  Atlas with chops.  Adonis with a chop and Irish whip but Adonis misses a shoulder and hits the turnbuckles.  Atlas with an arm wringer and he goes up top for the Rainbow DDT but Adonis crotches Atlas and Adonis with a drop kick to send Atlas to the floor.  Adonis sends Atlas into the plexiglass and slams the hand into the ring steps.  Adonis gets a near fall.  Adonis with a Fujiwara arm bar and Atlas with a rollup for a near fall.  Atlas with punches and Adonis with a punch and then he sends Atlas into the turnbuckles.  Atlas with an elbow and kicks.  Atlas goes for a German suplex but Adonis blocks it.  Atlas with a clothesline.

Atlas with a spinning heel kick and German suplex for a near fall.  Atlas goes up top and Adonis with a forearm.  Atlas with forearms and Adonis goes to the mat.  Adonis with a press slam and Adonis goes up top.  Adonis with a cross body for a near fall.  Adonis kicks Atlas in the back and Adonis with a rollup for a near fall.  Atlas with a sunset flip for a near fall.  Atlas with a jumping knee and forearm followed by a gourdbuster.  Atlas goes up top and hits th rainbow DDT for the three count.

Winner:  Jake Atlas

We go to commercial.

We are back wit a look at KUSHIDA"s victory over Santos Escobar to become the new NXT Cruiserweight Champion.

Match Number Two:  August Grey versus Tony Nese (with Ariya Daivari)

Nese with a waist lock take down and he poses for Grey.  They lock up and Grey with a waist lock and Nese with a standing switch and take down.  Grey with a front face lock.  Grey with a side head lock and he holds on when Nese tries to send him off the ropes.  Grey with a side head lock take down.  Nese backs Grey into the corner and Nese with an Irish whip but Grey floats over and takes Nese down with a side head lock.  Grey with a side head lock and float over.  Nese flips out of the corner and does some jumping jacks.  Nese with an arm drag but Grey with a side head lock.  Nese blocks a hip toss attempt and Grey with a side head lock but Nese with a belly-to-back suplex.

Nese kicks Grey.and gets a near fall.  Grey with a punch and he goes up top and Nese with a running palm strike.  Nese gets Grey on his shoulders for a gutbuster and a near fall.  Nese with a kick and hard Irish whip.  Grey with punches and Nese with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Nese tries to untie the turnbuckle pad and Grey with a take down and he catapults Nese into the turnbuckle for a near fall.  Nese with a pump handle sit out slam for a near fall.  Nese kicks Grey in the ribs and Grey with punches.  Nese runs into an elbow in the corner.  Nese blocks a kick but Grey with a punch and head scissors take down.  Grey with an elbow but Nese goes for the Cyclone Driver but Grey counters and he gets a near fall.  Nese with a back heel kick and body scissors.  

Nese with knees to Grey.  Grey with a chop and punches.  Nese misses a clothesline and Grey with kicks to the midsection.  Nese with an Irish whip and Grey with a clothesline and jaw breaker.  Grey with a neck breaker.  Grey with a punch and he goes up top  and hits the twisting cross body and then he punches Nese and hits a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall.  Nese with a chop and he leaps over the top rope but Grey blocks the drop across the top rope.  Grey with a kick and he goes for the belly-to-back gourdbuster but Nese lands on his feet and gets a near fall.  Nese with an enzuigiri.  Grey with a super kick and Nese goes to hte floor.  Grey with a suicide dive that sends Nese over the announce table.  

Grey goes to the floor at nine to break the count to bring Nese back into the ring.  Daivari says something to Grey and Nese with a rollup but Grey rolls through and gets the three count.

Winner:  August Grey
