New Japan Pro Wrestling

New Japan Pro Wrestling held its second Road to Wrestling Dontaku tour show today in Act City Hamamatsu.

• Yuya Uemura def. Gabriel Kidd

• Aaron Henare, Great-O-Khan, Jeff Cobb and Will Ospreay def. BUSHI, SANADA, Shingo Takagi and Tetsuya Naito

EVIL and Toru Yano have been suggested their match stipulations for their upcoming KOPW 2021 match on the first night of Wrestling Satsuma no Kuni on April 28.

EVIL has suggested a darkness match. For the first three minutes of the match, the arena would alternate between light and darkness every 30 seconds. Then, from the three-minute mark onwards, there would be thirty seconds of darkness every three minutes of light.

Yano has suggested a creation of darkness blindfold match. The match would start with four blindfold hoods on each ring post and a competitor can only win by pinfall, submission, knockout or countout once their opponent has been hooded.

Elsewhere, Minoru Suzuki will team with Aki Shizuku against TAKA Michinoku and Tomoka Inaba at JUST TAP OUT Professional Wrestling’s show on May 29 in Korakuen Hall.

Interestingly, the show takes place on the same day as the second night of Wrestle Grand Slam in the Tokyo Dome. However, JTO’s show starts at 12pm and Wrestle Grand Slam does not start until 5pm so Suzuki could conceivably wrestle on both shows.
