ESPN+s' SportsNation featured Triple H and Stephanie McMahon sitting down with former WWE broadcaster Arda Ocal to discuss their memories of Wrestlemania this morning.
On their tag match against Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle, Triple H commented said standing side by side with Stephanie doing his water spitting entrance was one of the coolest moments for him. That morning, she asked him how he does it. Stephanie said she'd never been able to do it right and was practicing it in the bathroom at the Superdome trying to get it right so she didn't embarrass herself and have it all over her face. He said doing it live with her was one of the coolest things ever. She thought about how so very few people get the opportunity to get what she was able to do at Wrestlemania, with her husband at an event her father created with her family watching from the front row. It doesn't get better than that.
Triple H was asked about having an official retirement match and riding off into the sunset after another Wrestlemania match. HHH said that if he was asked if he would want to have one more match, the answer is yes. He said the Wrestlemania component of having it at that event is less of a factor for him than anything else. He would rather have a chance to go wrestle different venues, mentioning going to Chicago, then going to Japan, going to the UK, make one more trip to those places. That would be bigger and then capped it off at Wrestlemania, that would be cool too.
