JOHN CENA RELEASES TWO BOOKS TODAY, CENA ON LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT NOTES

By Mike Johnson on 2021-04-06 08:50:00

John Cena appeared on last night's edition of The Last Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS.  There was zero discussion about Wrestlemania or John being/not being there.  Cena appeared in costume as Peacemaker from The Suicide Squad with Colbert making fun of the character's helmet as they plugged the 8/6 release of the film as well as the forthcoming HBO Max series on the DC Comics character.  Cena said he was on set from the character's home in a "double wide."  They plugged today's release of Cena's two new inspirational books (see below) as well as Cena hosting TBS' Wipeout.  They also made fun of the fact that Cena and comedian John Oliver were born on the same day and year and how different physically each of them are, which has been a bit that Oliver has done over the last year.  No professional wrestling discussion at all.

Cena's two new books, officially on sale today -
