Has there ever been a WrestleMania that you are less excited for?
I try not to speak in absolutes but I can’t think of one I am looking forward to less than this one.
Is there anything that you are looking forward to?
Well, the matches on Mania should largely be good or better from a work standpoint, as they usually are, but the builds have been terrible. I am looking forward to NXT Takeover matches and THE match of the week I can’t wait to see is Rampage Brown vs. WALTER for the NXT UK Title but as for Mania itself? They killed the buzz on everything I was looking forward to so to me, it’s just another show this year.
Did I really see WWE turn Bobby Lashley into a coward last week on Raw?
Yes, you did. WWE went from having him being a monster who will take on anyone, to a wuss who wanted someone to take out Drew McIntyre so he didn’t have to face him. He went from being a bad ass to being the Miz. It’s insane how bad the creative is in the main roster.
How does Bayley not have a prominent role on the show after helping to carry Smackdown for most of the last year?
Bad booking, there’s no other way to put it.
Why did WWE break up The Hurt Business? They were really starting to get over.
I will go back to what has become the theme of this column, BAD BOOKING. Vince McMahon and his team is just not in sync with telling good stories and creating characters that resonate right now. When they only dar 1.7M fans for Raw two weeks before WrestleMania, that says it all.
