NEW NWA NATIONAL CHAMPION CROWNED & MORE: 3/30 NWA POWERRR REPORT

Welcome back to the GPB studios in Atlanta for this week’s episode of NWA Powerrr!  The NWA TV is on the line in our Main Event as Da Pope defends against Fred Rosser.

Dokken’s “Into the Fire” Welcomes us.  GREAT song!

Joe Galli, Tim Storm and Velvet Sky are on the commentary desk.  Kyle Davis is with the National Treasure himself, Nick Aldis, the NWA World’s Champion.  He discloses that he suffers badly from an affliction.  The affliction is that he can’t do anything but win.  Davis mentions that Strictly Business is short on members.  Could Chris Adonis be the newest member?  Mr. Aldis says it takes more than that.  Out comes National Champion Trevor Murdoch.  He is furious about what happened with Adonis at Back for the Attack.  Murdoch offers Adonis another match, no DQ, no countout and the title will be on the line. Mr. Aldis will let this interruption slide for now.  He references them both coming up under Harley Race.  Aldis warns Murdoch to never turn his back on an opponent.  Chris Adonis emerges with a vicious blindside attack.  The commentators surmise that Aldis must be behind this. Medics attend to Murdoch.

Austin Idols plugs his Universal Wrestling College.

Mae Valentine is with World Tag Team Champions Aron Stevens and JR Kratos.  Stevens dedicates his career to Joseph Hudson.  Here comes Sal Rinauro, he challenges them to a tag team title match for next week.  It’ll be a mystery partner.

Slice Boogie vs. Jermiah Plunkett

Lockup into an arm twist by Boogie.  Go begind by Slice, Plunkett makes the ropes.  Slice with chops and punches and a nasty elbow to the back of the head.  Springboard back elbow by Slice for 2.  Spinning backfist and a running boot by Slice, he misses an elbow.  Plunkett with a punch for 2, followed by a slam and an elbow for 2.  They exchange forearm shots and Plunkett with a spine buster for 2.  Sleeper by Plunkett, belly to back counter by Boogie for 2.  Boogie with a series of forearms and he nails a lariat.  Gotch Style piledriver by Boogie for the pin.

WINNER: Slice Boogie

Austin Idol and Tyrus make their way to the ring.  Idol replaces Sky at commentary

Tyrus w/Austin Idol vs Matthew Mims

My god Tyrus is huge!  He bullies Mims into the corner twice.  Big forearms by Tyrus.  Idol claims to also have Nick Aldis under his tutelage.  Powerslam by Tyrus into a big elbow.  Tyrus pulls him up at 2.  Nerve hold by Tyrus.  Mims with a trio of headbutts.  Overhead suplex by Tyrus into an Avalanche.  1 chokeslam later and Tyrus scores the pin.

WINNER: Tyrus

BREAKING NEWS! Pope vs Fred Rosser has been moved to next week.  Murdoch vs. Adonis will take its place.

Fred Rosser and Da Pope join the desk to hype their match next week.

Thunder Rosa and Alex Gracia vs. Skye Blue and Jennacide

Blue and Rosa kick things off, Rosa with a front facelock, Blue converts it to a hammerlock.  Rosa with a drop toe hold into an ankelock.  Rollup by Rosa for 1.  Chops by Rosa in the cornerChops by Rosa in the corner, Blue reverses it an nails a cartwheel forearm and a spin kick for 2.  Rosa with a slam into a running senton for 2.  Gracia tags in and hits a pair of chops.  Armbat by Gracia into a legsweep.  Armdrag and a dropkick by Gracia but Blue gets the tag.  Jennacide registers nothing from Gracia’s forearms or dropkick.  Jennacide with a fallaway slam.  Gracis tries a takedown but JEnnacide throws her off.  Blue tags in and gets slammed on to Gracia for 2.  Jennacide tags in and nails a delayed slam.  Blue comes back in, her and Gracia exchange forearms.  Running knee by Gracia, both women tag out.  Rosa goes to work and Blue attacks Gracia on the outside.  Kamille out of nowhere nails a spear on Thunder Rosa.  Senior Official Robert Millercalls for the bell.

WINNERS: Alex Gracia and Thunder Rosa by Disqualification

Nick Aldis joins the desk.  Tim Storm shows respect to his champion.

NWA National Championship: Trevor Murdoch (Champion) vs. Chris Adonis

Murdoch is in a neckbrace.  This match in no Disqualification.  Lockup, punch to the neck by Adonis.  Ground and pound by the challenger, Murdoch slides out.  Adonis finds him and slams his head into the apron.  Bodyslam on the floor by Adonis.  Back in the ring, anelbowdrop by the challenger gets 2.  Chops by Murdoch but a back elbow sends him down. Legdrop by Adonis, he chokes Murdoch with the neck brace and removes it.  Adonis rains punches down for 2.  Adonis drops a series of knees to the back of Murdoch;s neck and applies the Masterlock.  Adonis slams him down and re applies the Masterlock.  Murdoch passes out.

WINNER: Chris Adonis (NEW NWA National Champion)
