Former Impact Wrestling Champion Eric Young suffered a torn ACL during his Impact Wrestling on AXS match with James Storm, which will main event tomorrow's broadcast.
Young revealed the injury on The Wrestling Perspective Podcast and noted that he worked two additional matches over the course of last week's TV tapings despite the tear, working basically on one leg.
Young is expected to be out 6-9 months, the first time in his career that he will miss any time due to an injury. Since being released by WWE last year, Young has been in the middle of an incredible renaissance inside the ring and as a performer in Impact, where he has done an incredible role leading the Violent By Design faction, playing a tremendously believable psychopath.
