Last Sunday, Roman Reigns retained the Universal Title, but while the referee and guest enforcer were not looking, it appeared that Roman Reigns tapped out. What does this mean for Wrestlemania?
We are in St. Petersburg, Florida and your announcers are Michael Cole and Corey Graves.
Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring and he has a chair with him.
Daniel says everyone saw the truth. Everyone saw the reality. Everyone saw something that Roman said would never happen and has never happened before. Everybody saw Roman tap out. Roman has never tapped in his entire career. Last week, he said he would rather die than tap out to someone like him. Good news, Roman Reigns is alive and Roman Reigns tapped out to Daniel Bryan. In a perfect world, what that means is that he would be standing in this ring as the Universal Champion. I would be standing in this ring knowing that i was going to the main event of Wrestlemania.
Neither of those things are true. Why? Because as I was making Roman Reigns tap out, Edge hit me across the back with a steel chair just like this. Daniel says that Edge told he he should have let us have the dream match at Wrestlemania. Daniel says he is tired of standing on the sidelines and let everyone have a dream match they didn't deserve. I earned the title match. I earned the chance to be in the main event of Wrestlemania. I am willing to earn it again.
Daniel says he is not asking for a spot in the main event. I want a rematch against Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship and I want it tonight. I am not leaving this ring until I get what I want.
Daniel sits down in the chair and looks at the ramp and stage.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Daniel Bryan is still sitting in the ring.
Daniel continues to stare at the stage while Corey wants him to get out of the ring.
Adam Pearce comes out and he says he cannot give Daniel a rematch tonight.
Daniel asks if Adam saw him make Roman tap out.
Adam says the referee's decision is final. Roman Reigns is the Universal Champion and his next title defense will be at Wrestlemania against Edge.
Daniel says since the next Universal Championship match is against Edge, why not have that match and I get to face the winner immediately.
Adam says that Daniel would understand what it is like to have to wrestle two title matches in a row.
Daniel asks why is it fair that I wrestle for 40 minutes in an Elimination Chamber and then have to wrestle Roman right after. So there is a double standard. Since Wrestlemania is two night. Night One, Edge versus Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship and on Night Two, Daniel Bryan versus the Winner.
Edge's music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Edge tells Daniel for the last month I have sat back and watched you be altruistic. You talk about how this could be your last match. Every match is my last match. This is my dream and you want to take it away. Edge says he won the Royal Rumble as number one and I outlasted everyone. You lost twice to Roman Reigns. I won the Royal Rumble. You don't deserve the match at Wrestlemania, you son of a bitch.
Daniel with a double leg take down and punches. Edge with a spear to Bryan and then Edge picks up the chair. Edge stands over Bryan and he hits Daniel in the back with the chair and then he leaves the ring.
We go to commercial.
We are back with a look at what just happened.

Roman stands up and he says we don't thank you, you thank us. Roman says that you get me for one night at Wrestlemania and for just one title defense. It is that simple. Now, you can thank us.
Adam says he understands Roman's point and he is inclined to agree with it but he has other things to consider. Everyone will get his decision by the end of the night.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Seth asks if everyone saw what happened.
Kayla Braxton shows up and Seth says he is sick of being embarrassed by Cesaro. He reminds Cesaro what he said if he gets in his way, bad things are going to happen. Seth says if Cesaro is man enough to face him at Wrestlemania, accept his challenge. He will teach Cesaro about respect. He says he will never be disrespected or embarrassed again. He will never be swung again by Cesaro.
Cesaro sends Seth into a storage case and Cesaro with a Giant Swing while referees hold their arms out to suggest that Cesaro stop.
