The Hollywood Reporter revealed today that Jaimie Fox's long-planned film starring as WWE Hall of Famer and all-time great boxer Mike Tyson will now move forward as a limited edition series endorsed by Tyson. The series is currently being shopped with Martin Scorsese attached as Executive Producer. "I have been looking to tell my story for quite some time,” Tyson said in a statement to The Reporter. "With the recent launch of Legends Only League and the excitement from fans following my return to the ring, now feels like the perfect moment. I look forward to collaborating with Martin, Antoine, Jamie and the entire creative team to bring audiences a series that not only captures my professional and personal journey but also inspires and entertains."
A corner of the Grand Concourse and Fordham Road intersection in The Bronx in New York City was officially named Big Pun Plaza today in honor of the late rapper, who passed away in 2000. Big Pun performed at Wrestlemania XV's Wrestlemania Rage Party back in 1998.
