NEW JAPAN SETS FIRST IWGP WORLD TITLE DEFENSE, SATO VS. CIMA IN ALL JAPAN, FREEDOMS AND MORE FROM JAPAN

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced the full cards for its Road to Sakura Genesis tour shows on March 28 in G Messe Gunma, March 29 and 30 in Korakuen Hall and Sakura Genesis on April 4 in Ry?goku Kokugikan.

The full Road to Sakura Genesis cards are:

March 28 in G Messe Gunma

A new member of the United Empire will debut on the show, teaming with Great-O-Khan and Jeff Cobb against SANADA, Shingo Takagi and Tetsuya Naito in the third match.

YOH will make his in-ring action from his torn ACL last July to reunite with Roppongi 3K partner SHO and challenge El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships. It will be the champions’ first defense of the titles.

Kota Ibushi will attempt his first defense of the new IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against New Japan Cup winner Will Ospreay.

Dragon Gate

Dragon Gate has announced the full card for its Memorial Gate 2021 tour show on March 27 in Wakayama Prefectural Gym.

The full card is:

• Genki Horiguchi, Kzy, Susumu Yokosuka and U-T vs. Gurukun Mask, Ho Ho Lun, Punch Tominaga and Shachihoko Boy
• Bokutimo Dragon, Ryo Saito and Ultimo Dragon vs. BxB Hulk, Diamate and Kaito Ishida
• Ben-K vs. HipHop Kikuta
• Wakayama Tornado Winning Match: Dragon kid, Keisuke Okuda and YAMATO vs. Eita, KAI and SB KENTo vs. Jason Lee, Kota Minoura and La Estrella
• Open the Twin Gate Championships: Masaaki Mochizuki and Takashi Yoshida (c) vs. Kenichiro Arai and Yasushi Kanda
• Open the Dream Gate Championship: Shun Skywalker (c) vs. KAZMA SAKAMOTO

The Wakayama Tornado Winning Match will start as a three-way match between three members of the opposing teams and a new member will enter every 60 seconds.

The match will be contested under tornado rules until all members have entered. If a member is pinned before all team members have entered the match, the team is eliminated.

Masaaki Mochizuki and Takashi Yoshida will attempt their first defense of the Open the Twin Gate Championships agianst Kenichiro Arai and Yasushi Kanda.

Shun Skywalker will attempt his third defense of the Open the Dream Gate Championship against KAZMA SAKAMOTO.

Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS

Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS will hold a show in Korakuen Hall tomorrow.

The full card is:

• Alejandro and Rekka vs. Dragon Libre and Tomoya Hirata
• Daisuke Masaoka and Kenji Fukimoto vs. Kengo and Yuya Susumu
• UWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship: Kamui (c) vs. Brahman Kei
• King of FREEDOM World Tag Team Championships: Minoru Fujita and Rina Yamashita (c) vs. GENTARO and Tatsuhito Takaiwa
• Deathmatch: Jun Kasai, Mammoth Sasaki and Takashi Sasaki vs. Masashi Takeda, Toshiyuki Sakuda and Violento Jack
• King Of FREEDOM World Championship deathmatch: Toru Sugiura (c) vs. Takayuki Ueki

Kamui will attempt his fifth defense of the UWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship against Brahman Kei while Minoru Fujita and Rina Yamashita will attempt their first defense of the King of FREEDOM World Tag Team Championships against GENTARO and Tatsuhito Takaiwa.

Violento Jack’s first match as a member of Empire Ruler Ends will be a six-man tag team deathmatch teaming with stablemates Masashi Takeda and Toshiyuki Sakuda against Jun Kasai, Mammoth Sasaki and Takashi Sasaki.

Toru Sugiura will attempt his ninth defense of the King Of FREEDOM World Championship against Takayuki Ueki in the main event.

All Japan Pro Wrestling

All Japan Pro Wrestling has announced Hikaru Sato will challenge CIMA for the World Junior Heavyweight Championship at its Champion Carnival tour show on April 25 in Korakuen Hall.

The lineup for the show also includes Jake Lee versus Zeus, Kento Miyahara versus SUWAMA, Kohei Sato versus Shuji Ishikawa and Shinjiro Otani versus Shotaro Ashino.

The bout will be CIMA’s second defense of the title. He successfully defended it against Izanagi yesterday.

DDT Pro-Wrestling

DDT Pro-Wrestling has announced four matches for its show on April 3 in Chiba.

The announced matches are:

• Danshoku Dieno vs. Hideki Okatani
• Kazusada Higuchi and Yukio Sakaguchi vs. Mad Paulie and Soma Takao
• Jun Akiyama and Makoto Oishi vs. Shunma Katsumata and Yuki Ueno
• Chris Brookes, HARASHIMA and Yuki Iino vs. Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo and Yuji Hino
