WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley noted online he is currently working on an article arguing for Lex Luger to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Foley had previously argued for Big Van Vader to be inducted before his passing, but sadly, it fell on deaf ears.
Speaking of Foley, he will appear in the new season of Pawn Stars. Commercials show Foley in a scene that appears to feature him authenticating a Mankind mask.
The Beth Phoenix episode of WWE Icons is slated to debut on 3/28.
For those who have asked about whether Peacock has the linear WWE Network channel yet, they do not. They have a "WWE" channel under their Channel menu, but it is a collection of material running that does not line up with what the Network is currently streaming at the same time.
One complaint we have heard on Peacock's rendition of the Network is that if you are signed up for the highest priced, commercial free tier, the WWE content goes dark for a few seconds where the commercials would theoretically be inserted for everyone else. The problem a few readers have pointed out is that the fade in and out on PPV broadcasts has popped up during promos and other segments where theoretically there should "not" be a commercial.
There is a lot of random content being imported over to the Network currently. It appears their focus currently is on the latest content (although the last few weeks of WWE NXT TV are not there) but there are older WCW and ECW PPVs up already. While we have received complaints, I would caution everyone to remember that the 2014 launch of the WWE Network itself was not without its bugs and that Peacock is bringing over countless thousands of pieces of content, so to expect immediate perfection is just guaranteed disappointment. Thankfully, the WWE Network will still be around a few weeks before going dark in the United States on 4/4, so Peacock will hopefully have a chance to get it all up to speed.
The WWE Network itself currently has carouseuls celebrating Eric Bischoff's induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, WCW Saturday Night (as they have added some 1993 episodes), Steve Austin before he was Stone Cold, Austin at Wrestlemania and Face Offs.
