WWE NXT UK REPORT: DEVLIN VERSUS SEVEN, SATOMURA IN ACTION, NXT UK JOINS THE WRESTLEMANIA WEEK PARTY, AND MORE

We start off with a look at Trent Seven attempting to make the weight for his scheduled Cruiserweight Title Match against NXT Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin.

We are in London, England and your announcers are Andy Shepherd and Nigel McGuinness.

Nathan Frazer says NXT UK is like a brand new start and a brand new start means a brand new name. Ben Carter got me noticed, but Nathan Frazer will be on people’s lips for decades.

Match Number One: Nathan Frazer versus Ashton Smith

They lock up and Smith with a side head lock. Smith with a shoulder tackle. They lock up and Smith with a side head lock. Smith with a hammer lock. Frazer with a flying mare. Smith with a wrist lock and Frazer goes through the leg and applies a waist lock. Smith with a standing switch and German suplex but Frazer lands on his feet. Frazer with a side head lock and take down.

Frazer with a head scissors. Smith with a fireman’s carry into an arm bar. Smith continues to work on the arm. Frazer with a chop and Smith sends Frazer into the turnbuckles and follows with a clothesline for a near fall. Smith with a body scissors. Frazer with a drop kick and then he is sent to the apron. Frazer with a forearm and then he hits a springboard cross body but Smith rolls through and gets Frazer up for a suplex. Smith gets a near fall. Frazer with a shoulder from the apron and he flips into the ring and goes for a front face lock. Smith pushes Frazer away.

Frazer with a drop kick that sends Smith into the corner. Frazer with kicks and then Frazer goes to the apron for a coast to coast drop kick and he gets a near fall. Frazer goes up top and misses a swanton. Smith with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Frazer with a snap mare and springboard moonsault into an elevated elbow drop. Frazer with a frog splash for the three count.

Winner: Nathan Frazer

We go to Ilja Dragunov.

Ilja says he is sorry for his recent behavior. It is not who he is.

Sam Gradwell shows up. He says that Ilja lost his way and the thunderstorm beat you. I’ll beat you in any type of match. Ilja likes the idea of a No DQ match and he says he is in.

Ilja walks away and Sam is not sure of what he just got himself into.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we are told that NXT UK Prelude will take place at 8PM BST/3PM EDT.

NXT UK General Manager Johnny Saint mentions that Noam Dar has been pestering him for a match against A-Kid for the Heritage Cup Title because Noam has been undermining his authority. Noam can qualify for a title match and he will face Tyler Bate in three weeks in a British Rules Match to determine the number one contender for A-Kid.

We take a look back at the Trent Seven training videos leading up to tonight’s match against Jordan Devlin.

Match Number Two: Dani Luna versus Meiko Satomura

Satomura with a kick to the leg and Luna misses a kick. Satomura with a back heel kick that is blocked and Luna sends Satomura to the mat. They lock up and Luna with a wrist lock take down. Satomura escapes. They lock up and Luna with a waist lock take down into a front face lock. Satomura with a side head lock. Luna gets a near fall with a rollup.

Luna wants a test of strength and Satomura obliges. Luna with the advantage but Satomura with a kick and judo throw. Satomura with a side head lock. Luna tries to power out of the hold but Satomura holds on. Luna with punches to the midsection but Satomura with a kick to the arm and then to the chest. Satomura with forearms and an Irish whip followed by a running forearm. Satomura with a European uppercut for a near fall. Satomura with a side head lock.

Luna with a suplex followed by a fallaway slam. Satomura holds on to the ropes to stop an Irish whip. Satomura with a spinning heel kick. Satomura goes to the turnbuckles and Luna kicks Satomura to the apron. Luna with a suplex back into the ring and both women are down. Luna with a forearm and Satomura with a forearm of her own. Luna with a clothesline for a near fall. Satomura blocks a German suplex and Satomura with a Pele Kick and a round kick to the chest.

Satomura with Scorpio Rising for the three count.

Winner: Meiko Satomura

After the match, Satomura helps Luna up.

Jinny says her win-loss record has been better than most on the roster, but we had one of the ‘favorites’ break the rules. Joseph Conners says that Piper Niven and Jack Starz are celebrating an illegal victory. Jinny says that result is null and void. Conners says that he will end Jack Starz’ 15 minutes of fame next week.

We go to commercial.

We ar back with a look at Jordan Devlin when he won the NXT Cruiserweight Championship. We hear Jordan talking about how he will defend the title against the best.
Dani Luna is asked in the back about how she feels after facing Meiko Satomura. Dani says she could not beat Meiko, but she is one of the best in the world.

Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster chase after Dani and they walk together.

NXT UK Champion WALTER makes his way to the ring.

WALTER says he is standing here in front of you as the longest reigning NXT UK Champion in history. Since I arrived, I have beaten everyone put in front of me from British Strong Style to Dave Mastiff to Joe Coffey to Ilja Dragunov. The list goes on and on. I am here for competition. He tells Johnny Saint to look the world over for the next challenger for me.

Rampage Brown’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring. He says that Johnny Saint doesn’t have to look around the world, just into his backyard. The champion has never faced Rampage Brown so let me know when you are ready.

Rampage Brown knocks WALTER down and says when we meet, this will come to an end.

We take a look at Xia Brookside at the Performance Centre and she has Nina Samuels helping her with her workout. Xia tells Nina to get some kettle bells for her. She has Nina fill up her drink.

Xia kicks over the chalk and she tells Nina to clean it up and suggests that Nina get in a workout too.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Kenny Williams shows up at the PC and Amir says he has to train. Kenny says that he has been pushing it lately but he promises that he will stick to whatever rules Amir wants when they wrestle for the tag titles in two weeks.

Amir says they don’t need to cheat to win. They have won fair and square before. Kenny agrees to fight fair and square.

We are reminded that NXT UK will air at 4PM Eastern again.

Ilja Dragunov will face Sam Gradwell in a No Disqualification Match next week. WALTER will face Rampage Brown in three weeks at NXT UK Prelude.

Match Number Three: Jordan Devlin versus Trent Seven for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship

Seven charges into the corner but Devlin moves. Seven with chops and he runs into a boot but Seven blocks it and he sends Devlin to the floor. Seven with a chop on the floor and he hot shots Devlin on the ringside barrier. Devlin with forearms and he blocks being sent into the steps. Seven sends Devlin into the ring steps. Devlin is sent into the ring and then pulled back out.

Seven with chops and they return to the ring. Devlin knocks Seven off the apron. Devlin goes for a pescado but he lands on his feet when Seven moves. Seven with a dragon suplex on the floor. They return to the ring and Seven gets a near fall. Seven with chops and punches in the corner. Devlin with a kick to the midsection and chops to Seven. Seven with another chop and Devlin goes down. Devlin with a forearm and side head lock.

Seven with a hip toss and slam. Seven with a leg drop for a near fall. Seven gets Devlin to flinch on a chop attempt but Seven cannot hit the DDT. Devlin with a uranage and standing moonsault for a near fall. Devlin with a kick to the back. Devlin stomps on the chest. Devlin with a back breaker to Seven. Devlin stands on Seven’s head. Devlin with a bow and arrow around the ring post. Devlin with a back drop driver onto the apron.

Devlin with a rear chin lock and he knee in the back. Devlin with a series of jabs to Seven and Seven goes down. Devlin with a back elbow and he gets a near fall. Devlin chops Seven and Seven fires back with chops and forearms. The referee warns Seven. Devlin with a clothesline and he gets a near fall.

Devlin with a slam and snap leg drop for a near fall. Devlin kicks Seven in the hamstring. Devlin goes for the Four Leaf Clover but Seven with punches and kick to escape. Seven with chops and he gets Devlin to flinch and Seven with a DDT. Seven misses a forearm in the corner and Seven with Diamond Dust and Emerald Frosion for a near fall.

Seven clotheslines Devlin over the top rope to the floor and Seven with a suicide dive that sends Devlin into the ringside barrier. Seven goes to the turnbuckles and he misses a twisting senton. Devlin with the Four Leaf Clover on Seven. Seven tries to get to the ropes but Devlin locks the hold in tighter. Seven gets to the ropes and Devlin does not release the hold. Seven with an inside cradle for a near fall.

Seven with a single leg crab and Devlin gets to the ropes to force a break. Seven sets for the Seven Star Lariat but Devlin with a head butt to counter and both men go down. Devlin sets for the Devil Inside but Seven gets to the ropes. Seven blocks a kick and Seven with chops and slaps to Devlin. Devlin blocks a chop and Devlin with Kawada kicks. Seven blocks the Devil Inside and hits the Seven Star Lariat for a near fall.

Seven gets Devlin up but Devlin lands on his feet on the Burning Hammer. Devlin with Emerald Frosion for a near fall. Devlin goes up top and Seven stops Devlin and he crotches Devlin. Seven climbs the turnbuckles and he sets for a dragon superplex and hits it. Seven with a Burning Hammer and Seven covers but Devlin gets his foot under the rope to stop the count.

Seven sets for the Seven Star Lariat but Devlin holds the ropes. Devlin with a rake of the eyes while the referee tries to get them off the ropes. Devlin with Devil Inside but Seven kicks out at two. Devlin with a 450 splash for the three count.

Winner: Jordan Devlin (retains championship)
