Elsewhere, Ishikawa’s former tag team partner SUWAMA made a visit to Nagoya Ogawa’s dojo in Chigasaki today.
Ogawa and SUWAMA had a heated confrontation at a press conference last December and both men have since openly talked about the possibility of facing each other, most notably in January when SUWAMA casually mused the idea of defending the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship against Ogawa in Ry?goku Kokugikan.
Back in 2013, SUWAMA promised fans in Chigasaki that he’d fight Ogawa one day. SUWAMA told Tokyo Sports today he feels it’s time to fulfill his promise.
