WWE star Andrade has seemingly tweeted confirmation of previous reports stating he asked for his release at a recent Monday Night Raw taping.
The rumors are true and I don’t know what the future holds but I want to make my dreams come true. thank you for giving me so much support these last days Los rumores son ciertos y no se lo que me prepara el futuro, pero quiero hacer realidad mis sueños. Gracias por tanto apoyo????????

The tweet, split into English and Spanish, read: “The rumors are true and I don’t know what the future holds but I want to make my dreams come true. thank you for giving me so much support these last days”
Andrade also recently tweeted about how much he misses wrestling in Mexico and Japan. Prior to signing with WWE in 2015, he achieved great success wrestling as the masked luchador La Sombra in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre in Mexico and New Japan Pro Wrestling in Japan.
However, given the messy departures of Andrade’s close friends Dragon Lee and Rush from CMLL in 2019, one has to wonder if Andrade would be more likely to join Lucha Libre AAA World Wide in Mexico if he was granted his release.
Andrade held the NXT Championship for 140 days from November 2017 to April 2018 before being called up to WWE’s main roster. He was originally drafted to SmackDown in 2018 but switched to Raw in 2019, where he would go on to hold the WWE United States Championship for 151 days from December 2019 to May 2020.
His last match on Raw was a loss to Angel Garza in two minutes and 30 seconds last October. He was managed during his WWE run by Zelina Vega, who was released late last year.
