TONY KHAN APPEARS ON AEW DARK: ELEVATION IN KENNY OMEGA ANGLE

On last night's debut edition of "AEW Dark" Elevation, Kenny Omega appeared and cut a promo to Matt and Mike Sydal saying he was scouting for opponents for AEW Dynamite.  Matt, who just wrestled in a victorious tag-team effort, says he will get into the top five to face Omega.  Omega scoffed at Tony Khan's rankings, saying he has a list of his own.  Michael Nakazawa shows the list to Matt and it's just Michael Nakazawa listed five times.  Kenny says if Sydal can beat Nakazawa he will get a match on Dynamite.  Sydal does fairly easily. 

This leads to Kenny Omega attacking Sydal from behind.  Kenny says he is pumped up and doesn't want to wait for Dynamite.  Omega wants to do the match right now.  The bell never rings, but Kenny attacks Matt in the corner hitting a One-Winged Angel with Nakazawa forcing referee Rick Knox to make a three count. 

Kenny grabbed a microphone and begins to speak about ratings, but he is interrupted by Tony Khan who said he never wanted to appear on camera but what he just saw was crap. TK stated that Omega doesn't make the matches, he does and he is not going to let Kenny Omega back out of another gentlemen's agreement.

Tony says that he's going to give Matt nine days and next Wednesday Sydal will face Omega and if he wins, he gets a future shot at the AEW World Championship. Kenny Omega flips out hearing the news.  The match will air on 3/23.
