MAJOR COVID-19 OUTBREAK FEARED WITHIN WWE PC, POSSIBLE CHANGES TO NXT TV THIS WEEK

By Mike Johnson on 2021-03-15 15:21:00

There are expected to be some changes to this week's episode of WWE NXT following a number of COVID-19 positive tests, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources.

There had been talk about potential outbreaks over the last several days and that talents and staff are currently undergoing testing.  PWInsider.com has been told there have been quite a few positives over the last several days, although for obvious reasons, those who have tested positive are being kept private.

We have been told several talents have been advised to quarantine.

One source pointed to a large group of Performance Center/NXT talents doing ring crew this past Thursday as a potential outbreak source.  That same source noted that dozens of talents were moving and resetting rings in Orlando with many not wearing masks during that process.  The source noted that there needs to be far more enforcement of masks then there has been in some time and hoped the situation would lead to WWE cracking down on enforcement of masks while at the PC.

Currently advertised for NXT on Wednesday:

*Austin Theory vs. Dexter Lumis.

*Isaiah "Swerve" Scott vs. Leon Ruff.

*LA Knight in action.
