HIGHEST PAID WWE STARS

By Kendall Jenkins on 2021-03-15 10:27:00

WWE pays a lot of money to showcase the biggest stars in wrestling. Some of the biggest names in the trade are Becky Lynch, Randy Orton and The Undertaker. It gets to the extent that the chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon is even ready and willing to dole out the cash, even for superstars that wrestle just once in twelve months.

For instance, John Cena is believed to have gone home with a whooping £6.6million, even when he lost the WrestleMania 36 belt last year to ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt, says the mirror. This was an unexpected defeat that took a lot of viewers by surprise. It probably made some big winners and losers when it came to betting as well. It is not always easy to find betting sites for wrestling but this comparison site seems to have a fair few, check out ratedbettingsites.co.uk and see where you can place bets.

When we talk about Brock Lesnar, who is now a free agent for instance, we remember that he earned an amazing £9.3million.

That is why we have made a list of the highest earning WWE male stars and the estimated amount they earned. See the list below.

Dolph Ziggler – £1.2m

Kevin Owens – £1.5m

The Undertaker – £1.9m

The Miz – £1.9m

Seth Rollins – £2.3m

AJ Styles – £2.7m

Randy Orton – £3.5m

Roman Reigns – £3.9m

John Cena – £6.6m

Brock Lesnar – £9.3m

Meanwhile, a lot of surprises also come with the women's salaries too. Why Bayley takes home only £150,000-per-year, even when she has the Smackdown Women’s Championship belt for more than 515 days still baffles many. However, the very popular Ronda Rousey, who still has a contract with the WWE, goes home with the highest amount. The ‘baddest woman’ in the entire universe has been missing in action on the WWE television since he lost her title of the Raw Woman to Lynch at the WrestleMania 35 in 2019.

The second biggest earner in this category is Lynch, and supposedly so, while the third position goes to Charlotte Flair, her former rival.

One of the most consistent performers in WWE in 2020, Asuka, lies on the lower end of the scale for the current earnings of these stars, as the current champion of Raw Women goes home with £190,000-per-year. The list below reveals what the womenfolk earn in wrestling.

Bayley – £150,000

Dana Brooke – £150,000

Asuka – £190,000

Natayla – £230,000

Mickie James – £230,000

Nikki Bella – £270,000

Alexa Bliss – £270,000

Charlotte Flair – £425,000

Becky Lynch – £1m

Ronda Rousey – £1.2m
