NXT'S BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE...

The  first announcement was that the next WWE NXT Takeover will be a two-part special titled Stand and Deliver on Wednesday 4/7 on the USA Network and Thursday 4/8 on the WWE Network/Peacock.  PWInsider.com reported last week that was the plan.

The second announcement was the official creation of the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship with Dakota Kai and Rsquel Gonzalez named the first champions as a result of their issues when challenging for the WWE Women's Tag Titles.

WWE later issued the following:

NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver set to take place Wednesday, April 7 and Thursday, April 8

In a historic announcement earlier tonight by NXT General Manager William Regal, NXT will present NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver Night One on Wednesday, April 7 on USA Network, with Night Two on Thursday, April 8 streaming exclusively on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network everywhere else.
