MLW FUSION REPORT: HAMMERSTONE VERSUS PARK, TANKMAN VS FATU IN 3 WEEKS, AND MORE

We begin with a look back at last week’s main event between Jordan Oliver and Jacob Fatu.

We are in Orlando, Florida and your announcers are Jared St. Laurent and Rich Bocchini.

Alicia Atout is with Calvin Tankman. Calvin says he did what nobody thought he could do. He stood toe to toe with the World Champion. Now it is on. Everything you hit me with, I kept getting up. I had everyone cheering me on and I can’t let them down.

Jordan Oliver and Myron Reed show up and he wants Tankman to join them and he does.

Match Number One: Gringo Loco versus Gino Medina

They lock up and Loco with a front face lock followed by a snap mare. Loco sends Medina to the mat and Medina with an arm drag. Loco with a back drop and arm drag. Loco with a leg sweep and they flip around the ring. Medina with a shoulder and he is pulled down by the hair. Loco kicks Medina to the floor. Loco with a springboard flip dive onto Medina on the floor. Loco sends Medina into the ring and gets a near fall.

Loco with a shoulder and he goes for a springboard move but Gino gets his knees up and gets a near fall. Medina with a forearm. Medina with a boot to the head. Medina stomps on the hand and chokes Loco in the ropes. Medina with a snap mare into a body scissors and rollup for a near fall. Medina holds on to the body scissors. Medina gets a near fall. Medina with a rear chin lock and elbows to the ribs.

Medina gets a near fall. Medina with boots to Loco followed by a slingshot senton for a near fall. Medina punches Loco in the jaw a few times. Medina with a chop and knee to the midsection. Medina gets a near fall. Medina with a rear chin lock. Medina with a hammer lock using the leg and he connects with a forearm to the chest. Medina puts Loco on the turnbuckles and he connects with a forearm.

Loco punches Medina and knocks him off the turnbuckles to the mat. Medina is pushed off the ropes and Medina with a quebrada for a near fall. Loco with chops. Loco with a handspring elbow and he gets Medina up and hits a reverse DDT for a near fall. Loco goes to the turnbuckles and goes for a double jump move but he is stopped by Medina and Medina with an enzuigiri. Medina gets Loco up but Loco gets to his feet and he sends Medina to the apron.

Medina goes up top and Loco punches Medina. Loco with elbows and he hits a Spanish Fly for a near fall. Loco sets for a power bomb but Medina with a double leg take down and jackknife cover. Loco with a rollup for a near fall. Medina drops Loco on the turnbuckles and hits a running knee in the corner. Medina drops Loco on the middle rope and Medina with a kick to the back of the head for the three count.

Winner: Gino Medina

After the match, Medina says that easy, he got rid of Gringo. I am in a ring of my own and I am untouchable. Richard Holliday, you want to be a keyboard warrior, you will get your ass kicked. You will find out who I am.

We take a look back at Filthy Island.

Tom Lawlor asks Ross and Marshall if they are going to get away with destroying his network special. He will sue them for the damage they did to his sparkling reputation. Tom applauds ACH for stepping up to the chailenge. I will be watching closely while Kevin Ku kicks your head off your shoulders.

We go to commercial.

We are back with the Top Five Rankings for the Middleweight Division.

We go to Alicia Atout and she mentions that Lio Rush posted an open contract for a title match next week. It is located outside the locker room.

Match Number Two: ACH versus Kevin Ku (with Dominic Garrini)

They start with a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and ACH with a wrist lock. ACH with a leg trip and Ku with a head scissors. ACH escapes. ACH with a side head lock. Ku backs ACH into the corner and Ku with a shoulder in the corner and ACH holds his injured ribs. Ku with kicks and boots to the ribs. Ku with an elbow drop to the back and he follows with a delayed gutwrench suplex for a near fall.

Ku slaps ACH and kicks ACH. Ku wants ACH to hit him and ACH with a chop. ACH with a forearm and Ku with a knee to the midsection. Ku goes for a back breaker but ACH holds on to the ropes. Ku is able to hit a back breaker and he gets a near fall. Ku with a seated abdominal stretch. Ku punches ACH in the ribs. Ku with a forearm to the injured ribs. Ku kicks ACH in the ribs. ACH with chops and forearms. Ku with a kick to the leg and ACH with a rollup for a near fall. ACH with chops. Ku with a slap and kicks. Ku with a round kick to the head for a near fall.

Ku with a waist lock. ACH with elbows to the head and he blocks a suplex for a moment but Ku is able to hit a suplex for a near fall. Ku with a chop and uppercut. Ku with a head butt and chop. Ku with a head butt to the midsection. Ku sends ACH into the turnbuckels but he runs into an elbow from ACH. ACH with a leg sweep and double stomp to the back. ACH gets a near fall. ACH goes for a suplex but Ku blocks it. They go back and forth with suplex attempts that are blocked. ACH with a gourdbuster and thrust kick for a near fall.

ACH with a waist lock and Ku with elbows and a standing switch. ACH with elbows. Ku with a power bomb out of a torture rack. Ku with a forearm and ACH fires back. They go back and forth. ACH with a chop and forearms. ACH with a back heel kick and Ku with a back body drop to counter a Tiger Driver. Ku with a back breaker for a near fall. ACH rolls to the apron. ACH blocks a punch and punches Ku. Garrini helps ACH off the apron while the referee deals with Ku.

Ross and Marshall Von Erich attack Garrini. ACH rolls back into the ring and Ku is sent to the floor. ACH goes up top and hits a splash onto Ku and Garrini. ACH sends Ku back into the ring and ACH runs into a knee. ACH with a super kick and brainbuster for the three count.

Winner: ACH

We have a video package for Mil Muertes.

Alexander Hammerstone and Richard Holliday are with Alicia Atout and Hammerstone is asked about Mil Muertes. Hammerstone says you cannot deny that he is a beast and a monster of a man. Those are the same adjectives, same verbiage, and same language you hear about everyone until they face Hammerstone. Everyone falls to the Nightmare Pendulum.

Alicia asks Hammerstone about his match against LA Park. Park has been wrestling since he was in diapers.

Salina de la Renta shows up and she asks if Contra is in Salina’s head.

Holliday asks if Salina was invited.

Hammerstone tells Salina not to worry about what is going on in his head. At fifty percent, he is better than anyone at 100 percent.

Next week, we will have Los Parks against Injustice for the Tag Titles and Mil Muertes versus Parrow. On March 31st, we will have Never Say Never.

Jordan Oliver tells the Parks they are coming for the belts. You have their respect. Oliver says they have respect for the people who paved their way in the business. They do not have respect for Contra Unit.

Alicia is outside the locker room and the contract has been taken and she says she will find out who signed it and will face Lio Rush.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at Calvin Tankman.

Contra Unit interrupts.

Daivari has comments for Jordan Oliver and Myron Reed. Jacob Fatu says this is Contra Country. Jacob says they will be watching Injustice next week.

We are told that the Lightweight Title Match is official, but we are not told who Lio’s opponent is.

We go to the Never Say Never Control Center. The main event is Jacob Fatu versus Calvin Tankman for the World Championship.

 

 

Match Number Three: LA Park (with Salina de la Renta) versus Alexander Hammerstone for the MLW Openweight Championship

Park checks out Hammerstone’s muscles and Park is not really impressed. Park pushes Hammerstone and Hammerstone pushes back. They exchange chops and Park with a clothesline. Hammerstone with a clothesline to Park. Park with a head butt, but he misses a clothesline. Hammerstone with a drop kick. Salina gets on the apron and out come Hijo de LA Park and LA Park Jr. Hammerstone with a shoulder tackle or two.

Hammerstone with a third shoulder and a clothesline into the corner. Hammerstone gets distracted by Salina and the children pull Hammerstone to the floor. They connect with super kicks and punches on the floor. Park tells the referee that he is okay when Hammerstone is rolled back into the ring. Park with punches and kicks.

Park kicks Hammerstone in the corner. Park removes his belt and he whips Hammerstone with it and the referee allows it. Park with a rear chin lock. Park sends Hammerstone into the turnbuckles and he punches Hammerstone. Park sends Hammerstone into the turnbuckles. Hammerstone punches Park on the turnbuckles and Hammerstone sets for a superplex and hits it. Hammerstone gets a near fall.

Park with a head butt and punch. Park with a knee to the midsection and he sends Hammerstone to the floor. Park goes to the floor and he kicks Hammerstone. Hammerstone is sent into the ring steps. Park with a head butt to the side of the head. Park Jr. grabs the leg and Hammerstone kicks him away. Hammerstone with a shoulder and punch to Park followed by a missile drop kick.

Hammerstone with forearms and chops followed by a flying clothesline. Hammerstone with a clothesline into the corner followed by a wrist clutch suplex for a near fall. Park with a chop and clotheslines followed by a flying knee. Park gets a near fall. Park misses a charge into the corner and hits the ring post shoulder first. Hammerstone signals it is over but the children get on the apron and they go back to the floor when Hammerstone approaches. Park with a DDT. Park with a running knee against the ropes and Park gets a near fall.

Park runs into a boot from Hammerstone and Hammerstone with a German suplex. Hammerstone with a forearm to the back of the neck for the three count.

Winner: Alexander Hammerstone (retains championship)

After the match, Hammerstone is attacked by Mil Muertes. Muertes spears Hammerstone and punches Hammerstone. Muertes pushes the referee away while he punches and kicks Hammerstone. Muertes hits Hammerstone with the title belt. Muertes with more punches while referees stand around Muertes. A referee is thrown to the floor and the others leave the ring.

Muertes hands the title belt to Salina de la Renta.
