Excalibur, Taz, and Anthony Ogogo welcome us to a “gargantuan" episode of AEW Dark, and wink at us because they’re wearing the same clothes as they were on Saturday’s Dark.
We start with Powerhouse Hobbs, accompanied by Hook, taking on Angel Fashion. Taz makes note that Fashion faced off with Starks and Brian Cage in tag action on the last Dark. Fashion gets a few forearms in, but it’s all Hobbs. Town Business gets the win for Hobbs.

SCU are now #2 in the Tag Team Rankings, but they’re taking on Azriel and Danny Limelight. Azriel and Danny Limelight take the advantage over Daniels, as Taz reminds us that he owns the worldwide copyright on the colors black and orange. Kazarian tags in, and turns the tide. Celebrity Rehab on Azriel gets SCU the win, since they definitely weren’t breaking up because of Azriel and Limelight.
Aaron Solow, Brick Aldridge, and Dean Alexander come out all wearing Nightmare Factory jackets. Their opponents are The Pretty Picture and Ryan Nemeth. Peter Avalon’s heart-shaped sled is back. Ogogo is back on commentary to hype up the guys from the Nightmare Factory. Brick Aldridge reminds me of a smaller Scott Norton, at least in appearance. Ogogo tells us that Aldridge is strongest person he’s ever met. The Pretty Picture and Nemeth focus their attack on Alexander, a former railroad man like Taz. Nemeth hits Rude Awakening on Alexander to get the pinfall.
“Big Shotty” Lee Johnson is facing Baron Black, who is already in the ring. Johnson gets the win with a Blue Thunder Bomb. If I haven’t mentioned it before or if I’m beating a dead horse, Baron Black has reached that get off the pot moment. Now that Shawn Dean’s been signed, Black probably has the most losses of the Dark matches crew.
Eight man tag action as Dark Order is represented by Colt Cabana, Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, and Alex Reynolds. -1 is staying on the stage. Aaron Frye, D3, Jon Cruz, and Vary Morales are the makeshift quartet of opponents. Colt Cabana sets Cruz up for the Chicago Skyline, but Uno hits Morales with a Flatliner, Reynolds hits Frye with a tombstone onto Morales, and Grayson hits D3 with Nightfall before Cabana connects with the Chicago Skyline and gets the pin for the Dark Order.
The Varsity Blonds (as it’s written on their trunks) are set to face Cameron Stewart and Ryzin. Stewart comes from Heath Miller’s school. A rolling forearm from Griff Garrison on Stewart gives the Varsity Blonds the win.
Diamante is all by herself to face Savannah Thorne, making her in-ring debut after previously appearing in MJF’s campaign a few months ago. Code Red from Diamante gets the quick win.
Fuego del Sol comes to the ring to a nice reaction from the ringside people. QT Marshall is out next with Nick Comoroto. Ogogo is back on commentary to praise Marshall entirely too much. These two evidently have a feud on Sammy Guevara’s vlog. The crowd is behind Fuego, and Taz calls Marshall a bully. Fuego still can’t hit the tornado DDT. Ogogo says Marshall is a perfect modern wrestler. Okay, calm down. Marshall is having gear issues, which is really distracting. Fuego blocks the Diamond Cutter. Fuego finally hits the tornado DDT, but QT rolls to the floor. Fuego heads to the top and slips, getting caught with a sloppy Diamond Cutter. Another cleaner Diamond Cutter finishes Fuego off.
Carlie Bravo is having his first singles action, accompanied by Shawn Dean who is now All Elite. Bravo’s opponent is Kip Sabian, accompanied by Penelope Ford. Commentary tells us that Bravo has only been wrestling for four months. Kip Sabian gets the win with the Hangman’s neckbreaker.
Abadon is taking on Katalina Perez next. Cemetery Drive makes quick work for Abadon.
Tonight’s main event features Santana and Ortiz taking on Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss. Santana and Ortiz came out to the Inner Circle music instead of their own. Joey Janela is the next to start wearing a singlet top. Santana and Ortiz start hot, attacking before the bell. They leave Janela on the floor and focus on Sonny Kiss in the ring. Janela’s magically appears and gets the tag. Janela screws up a kip up as he’s firing up, but hits Ortiz with a diving DDT on the stage. Janela tags Sonny Kiss back in too quickly. Ortiz and Santana hit a Death Valley Driver/neckbreaker combo to score the pin.
