3/6 NEW JAPAN RESULTS FROM TOKYO

From Ota City General Gymnasium, Tokyo Japan:

1 - Yuya Uemura, David Finlay and Toa Henare vs. Taiji Ishimori, Chase Owens and Jay White 

Ishimori pins Uemura with a Bloody Cross.

2 - BUSHI, SANADA and Tetsuya Naito vs. Jeff Cobb, Will Ospreay, with Bea Priestley and Great O-Khan

Interesting match.   This may be the first tag match between United Empire and Los Ingobernales de Japon.

Cobb pinned BUSHI with a Tour of the Islands. 

 Fun match!  Both teams matched up very well.  Naito had heat with O-Khan for eliminating him from the New Japan Cup, but O-Khan was ready for his tricks.   

3 - New Japan Cup 1st Round Match:  Tomoaki Honma vs. Minoru Suzuki

Suzuki punished Honma at the start, throwing him into guardrails and attacking with neck submissions.  They both threw wicked strikes, kicks and headbutts.   

Suzuki wins with the Gotch Piledriver.  

Damn.  These two men took a beating.   Sukuzi must have thrown 10-12 elbows which smacked Honma in the face.   Honma hit Suzuki with 3 headbutts to the jaw.  Brutal match.

Minoru Suzuki advances to face the winner of Juice Robinson vs. KENTA.

4 - New Japan Cup 1st Round Match:  Juice Robinson vs. KENTA

KENTA wins by submission with Game Over.    

Good match.   Both of them know each other well from their time in New Japan Stong.   

KENTA will face Minoru Suzuki in Round 2, which should be phenomenal.

5 - New Japan Cup 1st Round Match:  Kazuchika Okada vs. Shingo Takagi

Oh my God!   Awesome match!

Shingo Takagi pinned Okada with Last of the Dragon!!

Wow!   Big win for Takagi.   Okada was saying he was back in the Title picture with victory in the New Japan Cup but Takagi ended that in the 1st Round.
