ADDING A TITLE FOR THE WOMEN, TIME TRAVELING, GOOD MID SOUTH BOOKS AND MORE

Is there a good book you can suggest based on bill watts or mid south wrestling?

I asked our resident book guru Mike Johnson.  He suggested:

Bill Watts' autobiography "The Cowboy and The Cross".
Jim Ross' first book "Slobberknocker".
The King of New Orleans: How the Junkyard Dog Became Professional Wrestling.

Is it time for the WWE to add a women's intercontinental title? Giving someone other than the same 5 or 6 women they continually push a chance to have something to fight for.

I actually like that each brand only has one Title.  I am not a huge fan of the secondary belts overall.  With that said, I get that it does make for some undercard drama and sometimes, like with Lashley, they can use the Title to elevate someone to the top of the card.

Imagine it’s 2005/2006 and Bruce Prichard or Vince McMahon get some precognitive time travel message from their future 2021 selves and say, “what if we turn Bobby Lashley heel and make MVP his mouthpiece?”  And then it’s followed up with, “we got nothing with Shelton Benjamin besides some stupid mother gimmick, let’s throw him with Bobby and MVP.”  And then the Hurt Business is born 15 years ago.  How would WWE have been different?

They would have taken better advantage of very talented men.  I wish they would have done it.

I thought Stephanie McMahon was the head of Raw and Shane on Smackdown. Now it's Shane on Raw, as usual. Is Vince thinking we forgot again?

No, if he was thinking about this at all, he would say that they stopped those two in charge a long time ago.  He would also asked you how you missed Shane on Raw Underground last year.

Regarding my Edge logic question. I meant why would Edge agree to be part of something so illogical. He (and Christian) always called out lack of logic on their podcast.

Easy, he wants to wrestle for WWE at WrestleMania and he has to do what the boss wants him to do.  He could say, “That makes no sense, I won’t do it” and guess what?  He wouldn’t be headlining WrestleMania!

Lastly, I watched an old Nitro from 1997 on WWE Network. I must admit I wasn’t a big WCW fan back in the day. There was a referee who was crazy gesticulating with every move almost like copying the moves. It was very off putting. Who was the referee?

I can barely remember 24 minutes ago, let alone 24 years ago!
