We begin this week’s show with a disclaimer that MLW has no affiliation with Filthy Island and assumes any liability if Filthy Island turns out to be a fraudulent business venture.
We see Tom Lawlor in Hawaii and he is on the phone. Tom gets Dominic Garrini and Tom tells Dominic that there is a problem with catering so there is no spam. Dominic says if they are going to have Fight Island, they need to have spam. Tom tells Dominic he needs him to do a favor. Tom tells Dominic to go to the port and talk to Cunningham. He gives Dominic a bottle of some liquid and he tells Dominic it is for him.
We are on Filthy Island and your announcers are Tom Lawlor and Dan Lambert.
Match Number One: Dominic Garrini versus Muana Loa in a Prize Fight Challenge
Before the match starts, Garrini offers Loa a peace offering of some Spam Like Product.
Loa witih a body block and a splash for a near fall. Garrini rolls out of the ring and he has some words with Lawlor on commentary. Garrini returns to the ring and Garrini with a judo throw and he applies a rear naked choke and Loa taps out.
Winner: Dominic Garrini
We go to Mexico for the Azteca Jungle Fight between Mil Muertes and Savio Vega and your announcers for this match are Jared St. Laurent and Rich Bocchini.
Los Parks have a message for Contra Unit. He says Contra wants all the gold, but so are they. On March 3rd, they will defeat Los Parks but the World Title would be a good gift for the new owners of Promociones Dorado. They talk about going after Hammerstone and LA Park says Hammerstone is not too smart. LA Park challenges Alexander Hammerstone.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Alexander Hammerstone and Richard Holliday are on the island and Holliday says he thought it would be better. Hammerstone says he is not impressed. Holliday says as Caribbean champion, he needs to help the consumers. Hammerstone and Holliday talk about the lack of sun and they want to go back to the resort.
We go back to Mexico where the Azteca Jungle Fight may eventually start.
Match Number Two: Kevin Ku (with Dominic Garrini) versus Zenshi
Zenshi is in a tree above the ring and he hits a 450 seated splash as the bell rings. Zenshi with a reverse suplex and drop kick that sends Ku to the floor. Zenshi misses a Fosbury Flop to the floor but lands on his feet. Ku with a torture rack and he drops Zenshi onto the apron. Zenshi with a rollup for a near fall. Ku with a knee to the midsection. Zenshi hangs on to the ring post and kicks Ku away. Zenshi with slaps but Ku with a twisting dragon screw leg whip. Ku with a single leg crab.
Zenshi reaches for the hypothetical ropes and then he kicks Ku away. Ku with a double leg take down and he applies a Boston Crab. Zenshi with an inside cradle for a near fall. Ku with a clothesline. Ku chokes Zenshi and kicks Zenshi in the back. Zenshi with a kick to the leg but Ku with a chop. Ku goes for a suplex but Zenshi blocks it. Ku blocks a suplex attempt by Zenshi. Zenshi with a rollup for a near fall. Zenshi with a head butt. Zenshi with punches but he misses a spinning kick. Ku with a forearm and Zenshi with a pele kick for a near fall. Ku sends Zenshi into the ring post. Ku goes for a German suplex but Zenshi holds on to the ring post using his legs. Ku with a forearm to the back and he goes for a Dragon suplex but Zenshi lands on his feet. Zenshi with kicks. Ku with a Dragon suplex for the three count.
Winner: Kevin Ku
We go to Marshall Von Erich and Ross Von Erich.
Ross says they are on the Von Erich ranch and he is not able to compete tonight. Low Ki will be facing King Mo and he may be walking into a problem. Marshall says it is going to be a trap. He says that you know Tom Lawlor is going to do something. Marshall and Ross say they are going to crash this party.
We go back to Mexico and Savio Vega shows up and he has something to say to Salina and Mil Muertes hits Vega from behind. Muertes punches Vega and sends him into a tree. They exchange punches.
We lose the feed for a minute and then we go to commercial.
We are back and we will have a special episode of MLW Underground next week.
We go to Alicia Atout and she is with TJP.
Alicia asks TJP about his actions with Bu Ku Dao. TJP says they lost and the tough part about this is that this isn’t the first time he was asked this. He has been working at a high level for 22 years. He has been all over the world. In the last six years, every team I have played for, I have dominated. Not everyone can have the success I have achieved. Over the last year or so, I have been able to travel and I have accomplished all I can as a junior or cruiserweight. I can extend my expertise and wisdom and be parts of teams. I have helped veterans find their direction again or help out young up and comers. I will drag whatever teammates to success.
TJP says he has taken the ball out of his hands. You have to drag your team across the finish line if you partner is going to put you behind the eight ball. Bu Ku Dao does not know how to win.
Alicia asks about the disrespect he showed Dao.
TJP says he is not a bully. He says he was in the same position as Bu Ku Dao when he came up and he was shown no respect by his elders. It took dominating them to get to the next level. We are in this to win and Dao cannot make the final shot when given the ball. He says he is being realistic, not a bully.
Alicia says that Dao looks up to him and TJP says of course he has to since he is 4 foot 11. TJP wants to know if she is going to ask him any questions or just talk about Bu Ku Dao and TJP leaves.
Match Number Three: Rocky Romero versus Gringo Loco
They lock up and Loco with a wrist lock and Romero with a reversal. They go for a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and Romero with a kick and monkey flip but they hold onto the knuckle lock. Loco with a monkey flip. Romero with an arm drag out of a wheelbarrow. Loco with an arm drag and Romero with a head scissors. They alternate more arm drags and Loco with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker for a near fall.
Loco with a surfboard into a front face lock and forearms to the back. Romero with a back heel kick and a front face lock. Romero with a hammer lock but Loco with a back elbow. Loco with a hammer lock and Romero with elbows and a flying mare. Loco with a shoulder tackle. Loco looks for the ropes and he has some words for Lawlor. Romero with a drop kick to the knee and Romero with a La Magistral for a near fall.
Loco with a clothesline. Loco with a modified bow and arrow. Romero with a chop and Loco with a chop of his own. Romero and Loco continue to exchange chops. Romero and Loco exchange forearms and Romero gets the advantage and connects with an uppercut and hits a few clotheslines. Loco goes to the floor and Romero with a head scissors off the apron to the floor.
Romero punches Loco. Loco drop kicks Romero from the ring and then hits a flip dive onto Romero onto a couch. Loco with a reverse DDT for a near fall. Loco misses a moonsault and Romero with a kick to the arm. Romero with a knee drop to the arms. Loco with an enzuigiri and he gets a near fall. Romero continues to work on the arm and hits a mule kick and hits a knee lift followed by a tornado DDT for the three count.
Winner: Rocky Romero
We go back to Mexico and Vega and Muertes exchange punches. Vega with a knee and forearm to the back. Muertes throws leaves in Vega’s face and connects with forearms and kicks. Vega with punches. Muertes with a rake of the eyes and a chop. Vega with punches and chops.
We are interrupted by Josef Samael. He says this is a dangerous world and these are dangerous times. The children are oblivious to vulnerability. Children like Injustice or a child like Jordan Oliver. Maybe you are too young to realize or too stupid to understand that you don’t belong in the deep water. That is where I am going to take you. There are consequences for your actions. Your public execution at the hands of Jacob Fatu.
We go to commercial.
We go to the Von Erichs and they are on the road to the ring and they are playing their entrance music.
We go back to Mexico and Vega and Muertes with punches. Vega with a head butt but Muertes falls next to a shovel. Vega has a crowbar but Muertes punches Vega. Vega hits Muertes with the crowbar but Muertes takes it and hits Vega with it. Muertes drops the crowbar on Vega and Salina tells Muertes to finish the job and he gets the three count.
After the match, Muertes takes the shovel and starts to dig something.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Hammerstone and Holliday are at ringside. Lawlor says he has spared no expense and he leads them their seats. Holliday tells Hammerstone not to sit there but Hammerstone says it is comfortable. Hammerstone asks if there will be spam. Holliday wants to leave with Hammerstone.
Hammerstone tells Lawlor he will consider it while telling Holliday they won’t consider it.
Match Number Four: King Mo versus Low Ki
They lock up and Ki and Mo with punches. Mo with a single leg take down into a heel hook. Mo slams the leg into the mat. Mo with a face plant to Ki and he applies an Achilles Lock. Mo goes for the leg but Ki is able to counter into a choke. Mo goes down and he taps out.
Winner: Low Ki
After the match, Lawlor pushes the referee away and then Team Filthy enter the ring and they attack Low Ki. A jeep arrives and the Von Erichs emerge and they go after Garrini and Ku while Ki and Lawlor fight. Ki tosses Lawlor out of the ring onto the Von Erichs’ jeep.
