DECAY VS. XXL - DEBUT BEFORE THE IMPACT ON AXS TV REPORT

Welcome to the debut BTI - Before the Impact recap!

BTI opened with highlights of No Surrender.

Jon Burton, Gia Miller and Josh Mathews welcomed everyone to the show.

They discussed the Triple Threat Revolver match at No Surrender and showed clips.

The trio previewed Josh Alexander challenging TJP for the X-Division tite tonight.  That match will open the show.

They discussed FinJuice making their Impact Wrestling debut tonight and wondered who else could show up.

They went to Matt Striker and D'Lo Brown.  They talked about Tommy Dreamer's performance at No Surrender, battling at that level at the age of 50.  

They announced Impact Champion Rich Swann will not be on Impact tonight due to the beating his knee took when Moose attacked him at the PPV.  Moose will be on the show tonight.

The panel discussed the recent incursion of AEW stars in Impact and announced FinJuice will be competing on Impact tonight.

They went backstage to XXXL who said they will finally get their revenge against Decay.  They aren't scared of any of them, especially Rosemary.  Acey was actually afraid of her.  Larry D has such a great old school promo delivery.

Decay responded and promised to destroy XXXL.  Their fear will come out when they face Black Taurus.

They panel gave predictions.  They all agreed Decay would win.

They previewed the X-Division title bout.

They showed the footage of Moose attacking Dreamer and Swann at No Surrender.

They ran down the top five moments on social media.  The top moment was the Paid AEW ad last week.

They went to someone named George the Iceman who said he was going to give out exclusive info no one will find anywhere else and he won't out his sources.  I have it on good authority it's the creative team.  The scoop was that a tag team got into it with each other on a flight where they were warned if they didn't stop they would land the plane and get arrested.  George then said he wouldn't say who the team was.  Well, what was the point of that then?

XXXL vs. Decay

Crazy Steve worked over Larry D in the corner and bit him on the face.  Taurus tagged in and worked over D.  D grabbed a side headlock but Taurus used his strength to escape, then used the ropes for momentum to reverse.   Taurus worked him over.  Steve tagged in but was overwhelmed by Acey's power.  XXXL tagged in and out, beating down Steve.  Steve fought back and nailed a rana out of the corner on Romero.  D nailed an Avalanche.  Taurus was knocked off the apron.  

XXXL went to finish Steve but Rosemary distracted them.  Taurus dropkicked Acey to the floor and nailed a twisting tope con hilo to the floor.

Steve caught D with a DDT off the ropes and scored the pin.
