Terry Funk

He was one of the first psychopaths in the ring. By that time it seemed so unexpected and tryly therefore several times Terry Funk was attacked and stabbed on the street by hostile fans on at least a couple of occasions. He is one of creator of hardcore wrestling using fire and a lot of folding chairs. Nevertheless he was extremely friendly out of the ring. One of his fans reminisced on YouTube: Terry Funk is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. He did an appearance for Harley Race Wrestling in the late 90's and he signed a folding chair for me that was property of the fair grounds and carried the chair outside past security.

Nick Cage

Not only a vicious wrestler but also a bank robber sentenced to 5 years. With a pretty modest appearance and with a balding head and not shaved head he was regarded like a king of a death match. He once got impaled on a broken light tube and almost bled to death. Once he died in a helicopter after a fight and then was resurrected. After five years in prison for bank robbing he made a flashy return when stabbed David Arquette in the neck with a light tube and remained vicious like it used to be.

Abdullah the Butcher

He is the owner of deepest scars in wrestling history. Mick Foley said that it’s able to put gambling chips into them. Abdullah is the enemy in many video games, inducted into the WWE hall of fame in 2011. On the ring he always was into ultra violence with bleeding face, injuries, splinters. He is one of the cruelest and most recognizable giants in wrestling who turned into restaurant business( one in Atlanta and one in Japan).  

John Zandig

Numeros times he was called the icon of ultra violence. Before wrestling this ferocious man was an explosives and demolition expert. He was getting dragged behind the car, hung on meat hooks. He nearly killed Joey Janella when dropped him off from a building in a truck. Under his leadership the CZV organization has become one of the most fiery and mind-blowing. From a backyard school for wrestlers it turned to the most ultra violent sensation involving such objects as thumbtacks, light tubes, weed wacker and barbed wire. Zandig returned to CZW in 2016 for the annual Tournament of Death. He was trying to defeat and return the ownership of CZW from a current owner DJ Hyde. Atsushi Onita

He is the founder of martial art wrestling. He pioneered death match wrestling. Intense career forced him to retire in 1985 but he returned three years later with a barbed wire baseball bat on his shoulder. He is a legend of SNW and was extremely popular. Fights among explosives and fire once gathered 30000 spectators. The match was held on a swimming pull and it’s definitely one-of-a-kind events in wrestling history.
