Match 1: “Hoodfoot” Mo Atlas vs Logan Creed
It’s Hoss o’Clock! Creed is so damn tall. Trading shots and testing each other, Creed wins a suplex battle but crotches himself missing a yakuza kick. Hoodfoot off the second with lariat that sends Creed to the floor. Hoodfoot hits an STO but misses a falling lariat. Creed just kicks the back of his head off. Hoodfoot dodges the chokeslam and hits a saito suplex for two. Hoodfoot wakes him up with chops and we’re trading cracks and decibels. Hoodfoot dumped out and Creed suicide dives out at him. Corner splashes traded, Hoodfoot with a popup sitout powerbomb for two. Creed catches Hoodfoot on the chin and hits a full Nelson facebuster for the three count.
Winner: Logan Creed
Big Boys. Big Moves. All Action. Good Sh*t. Creed stays undefeated, taking down the PPW Heavy Hitters champ. This was just a big heavy artillery fight that never let up. Very enjoyable opener.
Match 2: Rob Killjoy & Bobby Flaco vs The Skulk (Adrian Alanis & Liam Gray)
Flaco and Killjoy immediately hit the ring, send the Skulk to the outside and dives right after ‘em. Liam and Killjoy at 90/mph in the ring. Liam looks to get out and Killjoy drags him into some tandem trouble for a near fall. Liam with a jaw jacked to Flaco to escape and Alanis tags into cause havoc. Flaco tries to use his high flying offense but Alanis catches the arm drag off the top and get him up for a suplex with a Liam crossbody added for two. Big backbreaker and legdrop to Flaco. Killjoy getting held back at the corner, while the Skulk double up their damage. Skulk wiped out, allowing Flaco to make the tag. Double stomp to Liam, flies right outside onto Alanis, back in for the two on Gray. Electric chair snake eyes into a german suplex, Suplex neckbreaker on Liam and Alanis makes the save at two. Flaco with an X-factor and a wheelbarrow STO for a clooooooose two. Flaco a springboard moonsault but Liam Gray rakes the eyes after posting Killjoy, Alanis gets the rollout for two.
Winners: The Skulk
This has been a really fun low-key sub-story in ACTION these last few months. Fun match. Normally I’m not a huge cheaty roll up fan but I really liked how this one was executed. Both teams executed on some good tag work, nothing the absolutely brutal flurries that Flaco and Gray ate at times. Good stuff.
THE DISCLAIMER.

Match 3: “Brain Dead” Kevin Ryan (w/ Suge D) vs Eli Knight
“The Good Hand” makes its debut tonight. Suge immediate takes a spot at commentary. Ryan changes at the bell and drops Knight in the corner. Knight tries to speed it up but a gut kick solves that. Ryan gets dropkicked out, Suge comes down for a pep talk and eats a dropkick to the outside from Knight. Knight up over the post to dive onto Ryan. Ryan with a stunner on the top rope and a huuuuuuuge moonsault to the floor. Knight misses a leg lariat and Ryan hits a double stomp for two. Ryan tries a sunset flip powerbomb but Knight flips out, drops him and hits a high angle springboard moonsault. Knight back to the top, Suge causes the trip up, Ryan tries some flash but they trip up off the top. “DID YOU LEARN YOUR LESSON ABOUT THE FLASHY STUFF?” Says Suge as Ryan hits a running forearm to the back of the head and Eli Knight is out.
Winner: Kevin Ryan
Suge in to berate Knight, choke him down and bust up the hand he treated some disrespect with....his Good Hand, as it were. Suge wants Ryan to prove his loyalty to The Good Hand and offers up Eli to his protege. Ryan breaks Eli’s hand and his initiation is complete, even if it leaves him in shock momentarily. I don’t want to undersell this though: Kevin Ryan got so much offense in this match and he WON! Suge’s influence has paid off! Good contest here and a great story being told by the Good Hand. But this is just the first part for tonight.
Match 4: Dominic Garrini (w/ Kevin Ku) vs Damyan Tangra
Tangra offers a handshake, Dom kicks it off. Right to the ground and aggressively trading holds & reversals. Both invite the other into their guard. Very evenly matched. Trading full mounts and raining blows. Back to their feet, Tangra offers a handshake again, thinking he’s proved himself. Dom with a loud slap to call it off and we have a full-on strike battle. Staggering each other with forearms and kicks. Dom staggered, Yakuza kick, superkick, DVD, two count! Dom with a gutwrench powerbomb. Exploder for two. Tangra with a high kick, spin out gutbuster! Dom wrapped up into a deeeeeeep STF.....Garrini barely makes the rope. He’s breathing heavy but he gets a suplex right into a rear naked choke. Tangra has to submit.
Winner: Dominic Garrini
Dom gives the handshake after the bell. Great show of respect...now that the fighting is done. Great sprint of a 3-act contest here. Good technical stuff, an aggressive standup war and great finish sequences. Crowd went hot for “both these guys”. Dom lets Tangra soak it in a little. I enjoyed this a lot. Good job, y’all.
Match 5: CT Keys vs Orion Bishop vs Graham Bell vs 2 Fly Ty
Bell tries to get everyone to gang up on Bishop. It doesn’t play out like he thinks. Bell’s offense isn’t doing much either. Bishop catches a cross body and sends him flying out. Keys and Ty sucker him over the top and take the stage. Bell in but almost gets pinned by a Keys Michanoku driver. Bishop back to slug it out with Keys....catches a big fallaway suplex. Bell and Ty hammering away on Bishop but he’s a big strong dude. Bell takes out the knee with a stiff kick. Bell with an atomic drop and heart kick to Ty. Keys back in, flying off the top but his with a spear by Bell. Bell with a spear to Ty. Bell’s spear gets caught by Bishop into a suplex. Keys with a running European uppercut explodes Bishop to the outside. Bell with a spear to Bishop on the apron. Keys dives on everyone. Keys drags Bell in for the finish but eats a spinebuster. Bell with a punt...but with a deadlift german out of the pin. Ty wants to steal the pin but he gets tossed. Keys hit with a sitout tombstone by Orion Bishop and goodnight folks.
Winner: Orion Bishop
This was all go go go! Bishop was the big threat here and his opponents treated him as such. Bell’s been on a good run so he seemed the favorite going in but Bishop was not going to be denied after his impressive debut against Logan Creed a couple months back. Love his Dr. Death meets Big Show vibe. Fun to watch!
Match 6: Suge D (w/ Kevin Ryan) vs Cabana Man Dan
Suge continues to not come from the back and enters from the crowd. Dan takes this right to the floor as soon as he locks eyes with Suge, eager for payback from the months previous. CMD tosses Suge in for the bell to ring. Atomic drop, senton, 2 count. Dan is punching and tearing at Suge. Suge rakes the eyes to get some space. He tries to break his nose and gouge out his eyes. CMD trying to recover but Suge is all over him. Working the shoulder with holds and throws. Suge pressing into the hurt eyes on his pins. Dan biting his way out and landing shots. Suge with a flying headbutt spear to the gut. Suge gets the mic and tries to convince Dan to join the Good Hand. Dan responds with a shot to the mic that cracks him in his loudmouth. Dan takes out Ryan at ringside and is allllll over Suge. DDT off the top, two count! Dan tries to twist Suge into pins but Suge catches him with a throw. Double arm DDT for two. CMD with a STO. Kevin Ryan in to distract. Suge behind CMD with a shoelace and chokes him out while the ref is removing Ryan from the ring. Suge locks a rear naked choke for the ref to see CMD out and call for the bell.
Winner: Suge D
Suge got the mic again. Ryan holds down Dan while Suge steps on his feet. Suge preaches his gospel of raising up the guys who have been there in Action. He gives Dan the choice, join the Good Hand or lose it. Suge is about to break it but decides Dan isn’t worth it. The Good Hand is moving onto better things so CMD....he gets the finger. This whole build of Suge D into the Good Hand has been incredible. This has been Action’s hottest story and it continues to deliver.
Main Event: Nolan Edward (w/ AKIRA) vs Anthony Henry
This is it. Anthony Henry’s final stop on the indies. A match against the man that beat his Workhorsemen tag partner, JD Drake. A match that should have happened months ago but Nolan couldn’t make the show. Two guys who have been working the heck out of each other on twitter. Lock up into the collar and elbow, to the ground and back up. Nolan with the first big kick, sending Henry retreating to the outside and eating strikes and forearms. Henry takes a beating until Nolan whiffs and strikes the post. Henry drops Edward to the apron, while AKIRA tries to cheer on his KOBK stablemate. Battling into the chairs, Edward sat out and Henry with a running leg lariat through the chairs. Nolan gets his ankles stomped and throws a defiant slap. Edward firing up on a series of kicks to the chest and head. Big powerslam from Henry for two. Edward with a shotgun dropkick but Henry with a missile dropkick to return. Anthony Henry grabs the towel that JD Drake gave Edward and says he doesn’t deserve it. Edward doesn’t back down and eats a head kick for two. Edward begs for more kicks and eats them for dinner. Henry working the knee now, stalking and kicking, causing Nolan to scream in pain. Henry wraps up a figure-four variation that lets him trade forearms and slaps. Transition into a figure-eight and then just takes mount for the ground and pound. Henry stomping at the ankle more, Edward is taking soooo much damage. Henry tells him to give up, Edward is right back in the ring to throw chops and yell at each other about respect. Nolan with the blue thunder bomb to two. Henry with a brainbuster for two but transitions to a chicken wing shoulderlock. Nolan is trapped but he makes the rope. Henry hitting LOUD chest kicks as Nolan asks for more. Nolan with a slap and eats a spin kick, powerbomb and top rope double stomp. Nolan kicks out but gets trapped in the dragon sleeper. Henry hits a G****MNED VERTABREAKER but Nolan kicks out. Henry locks into another dragon sleeper and Nolan Edward goes to sleep. Ref calls for the bell. Woooooooooow!
Winner: Anthony Henry
What a way to go out. Seriously, this MAY have topped the war with JD Drake. Henry’s dark side is no joke and Nolan means it when he calls himself “no flinch”. Main event and a half. Henry on the mic to address Nolan. He reminds everyone that Nolan pinned JD Drake. Nolan absolutely doesn’t flinch. Henry says he was mad because he, one of the best wrestlers in the world, wanted to get to wrestle one of the future best wrestlers in the world and hated the prospect of losing that chance. He gives the JD Drake towel back...he agrees that Nolan deserves it. Anthony Henry gives him one more thing....Nolan Edward is officially called a member of the Workhorsemen. Excellent. The kid absolutely delivers in these main event spots.
Henry goes through his goodbyes to the indies. He thanks Matt Griffin, Dylan Hales and ACTION as a whole. He talks about how he almost lost his wrestling dreams a year ago and had to fight through some challenges through Covid, contemplating retirement. But then he got a call that turned it all around and he wants to thank everyone that stuck with him during his darkest period. He;s onto bigger and better things. Good luck, Anthony Henry!
And that’s it for “No Easy Way Out”! 7 matches at a little over 2 hours. Everything worked here. An absolutely easy recommend. Just watch the whole show from the battle of the big boys we kicked off with to the war of attrition that was our main event. AND WE’RE NOT DONE TONIGHT. Action’s second card kicks off in about a half hour and I’m right there for the big title match that caps the night off. Until then!
