Good showing by Yuya Uemura. Minoru Suzuki is a beast.

Yoshinobu Kanemaru joins the Japanese announce team.
IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship: Tanga Loa and Tama Tonga, with Jado vs. Zack Sabre, Jr. and Taichi, with DOUKI. Kevin Kelly states that Dangerous Tekkers have never defeated G.O.D. Tama Tonga came to the ring with a plastic trash bag full of small bags. He threw the trash bag in the ring and Taichi tried to open it. G.O.D. attacks. DOUKI faces off with Jado and they attack each other with their weapons. They fight back to the locker area. Taichi opens one bag and it is a loaf of bread. He opened a second bag and it was a boxing glove. He opened the bags and pulled out stuffed toys. Tama laughed like a maniac. Taichi went for the last bag, but Tama took it away, saying "No no no!" Taichi attacked him and took the bag. Tama hit Taichi in the back and he hit the guardrail. The bag fell into Kanemaru's lap. The referee was about to count out Tama and Taichi, but they both got back in the ring before being counted out. Kanemaru held up the bag and Tama screamed "NO NO NO, that is mine! He tried to get to Kanemaru and Taichi grabbed him in a choke, while Kanemaru opened the bag. Kanemaru screamed "What is this?" (in Japanese), and held up a red bra. Tama laughed like crazy. Taichi lost his mind and started choking Tama. Tanga Loa hit the ring to save his brother. Both teams continued to battle outside the ring. The action settles into normal tag match with G.O.D. beating down Taichi. ZSJ finally tags in and works over the left arm of Tanga Loa. Momentum of the match switches back and forth. Great stuff! G.O.D. goes for a Super Powerbomb on Taichi. Taichi reverses out and hits Tanga Loa with a wicked Buzzsaw Kick. ZSJ kicks Tama in the face and Taichi connects with a hard elbow. Dangerous Tekkers hit Zack Mephisto on Tama Tonga. Only a two count as Tanga Loa pulls the referee out of the ring and flying into the guardrail. ZSJ goes to punt kick Tanga Loa, but he trips up ZSJ and he lands hard on the ring apron. Tanga Loa and Taichi trade Axe Bombers. Taichi drops Tanga with two kicks to the head. Jado comes back to the ring with the Iron Finger. He hands the Iron Finger to Tama Tonga. DOUKI jumps in the ring and hits an ensugiri on Tama. Tama recovers and blasts DOUKI with the Iron Finger. Tama tries to hit Taichi but Taichi blocks Tama's attack with a kick to his arm. The Iron Fingers fly off. Taichi FINALLY gets his hands on the Iron Finger. Tanga Loa hits Taichi and he drops the Finger. Taichi sends Tanga Loa over the top rope. Tama gets the Iron Finger back, but ZSJ traps him in a sleeper. Tama drops the Finger. Taichi grabs it and is about to hit Tama who is still getting choked by ZSJ. The referee stops Taichi from hitting Tama. Taichi pushes the referee away. Tanga Loa tries to hit a lariat on Taichi but Taichi hits him in the face with the Iron Finger.
Jado jumps in the ring and nails ZSJ with the kendo stick. Taichi is screaming in anger. Jado hits Taichi with the kendo stick. No effect. Taichi blasts Jado with the Iron Finger. Tama Tonga is begging Taichi in the ring. He drops to his knees and bows. Taichi is so angry. The referee gets to his feet behind Taichi. Tama tries to hit Taichi but Taichi smashes Tama in the face. Dangerous Tekkers are disqualified. Guerillas of Destiny retain the IWGP Tag Team Championships.
Taichi was a wild man in the ring. Kanemaru jumps in the ring and almost gets hit by Taichi. Zack almost gets hit by Taichi. They grab him with Taichi's arms are flailing. Kanemaru takes the glove and hides it in a black bag.
Kevin Kelly says Taichi has become Iizuka
Note: Takashi Iizuka was a member of Suzuki-Gun who has since retired. He was a wild man and vicious brawler. His signature weapon was the Iron Finger. He gave it to Taichi when he retired from wrestling.
Taichi gains his Iron Glove back. G.O.D. and Bullet Club remain in control of the New Japan Tag Division.
IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship: Hiromu Takahashi vs. SHO. Too much action to document in this match. Both men hit their finishers and both men kick out. Unreal. Both men are exhausted as the match goes past 35 minutes. Hiromu hits Timebomb II and gets the pin. Hiromu Takahashi retains the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship. ELP tells Kevin Kelly that he is retiring from commentary again. ELP jumps in the ring and is about to hit Sudden Death on Hiromu, who is prone in the ring. BUSHI comes in for the save. Taiji Ishimori comes to the ring to help his Bullet Club teammate. ELP went for Sudden Death, but Hiromu ducks and elbows ELP out of the ring. Hiromu send Ishimori out of the ring with elbows.
ELP takes the mic and says he is tired of Hiromu as champion. He says Hiromu was given the belt by New Japan. He says that he will not leave Japan until he takes the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title from him. He said that all it will take is one. (I assume ELP means he will just need one shot to win.)
Hiromu says that he and BUSHI wants a shot at their IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Titles.
Hiromu Takahashi is becoming the face of New Japan. He wants the Jr. Title to be held to the same level as the Heavyweight Title. I am concerned whether his body can hold up. At some point in 2021, he will need a break to regroup and remain healthy.
Upcoming Title Matches and Predictions:
I am unsure what the final card will be on 2/11/21 in Hiroshima, however, here are my thoughts on what was announced:
NEVER Openweight 6-man Tag Team Titles: Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI and Tomohiro Ishii vs. Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa and Jay White
Jay White was gone since Wrestle Kingdom. When he returned, he set his sights on Tomohiro Ishii and his CHAOS partners. He has tormented them during the last part of this New Beginning tour. I predict a Bullet Club win here. White made the challenge to the Champions. If Bullet Club loses, then it was all talk, and White will continue to look like a loser. It will only hurt Jay White if he does not win this match, as G.O.D. will still have the IWGP Tag Belts. It should be a wild match.
IWGP Heavyweight and IWGP Intercontinental Double Championship: Kota Ibushi vs. SANADA
This should be a great pure wrestling match. No shenanigans between these two, like in the Tag Tile match. Just good wrestling. This was a storyline dating back to the Finals of the G1 Climax 2020. I think it is too early to take the Titles off of Ibushi, so I predict he will retain. I think SANADA deserves a shot at being Champion. He had a classic match IWGP Championship match with Kazuchika Okada on October 14, 2019 at King of Pro Wrestling where he almost beat the Rainmaker. He has proved that he is more than just a tag team wrestler. With the New Japan Cup and G1 Climax 2021, SANADA could be be on the rise in 2021.
Upcoming New Japan Tours:
The Road to Castle Attack starts 2/14/21 and ending with a two night event in Osaka on 2/27/21 and 2/28/21.
Anniversary Event is scheduled for 3/4/21 at the Budokan in Tokyo.
New Japan Cup 2021 begins 3/5/21 till 3/21/21.
