WWE NXT UK REPORT: DEVLIN HAS AN UNEXPECTED CHALLENGER, NINA BRINGS HER BAGGAGE TO THE RING WITH HER, DRAGUNOV, COFFEY, AND MORE

We are in London, England and your announcers are Andy Shepherd and Nigel McGuinness.

Match Number One: Xia Brookside versus Nina Samuels (with her baggage)

Nina tells Xia that she should be handling her bags and Xia with a take down and punches. Xia with a side head lock. Nina backs Xia into the turnbuckles and misses a Yakuza Kick and Xia with a leg sweep. Brookside with a waist lock and take down. Xia with a sunset flip for a near fall. Xia with a wrist lock and works on the arm. Xia goes for a head scissors take down but Nina counters with a reverse suplex.

Nina kicks Xia in the corner. Nina with more kicks in the corner. Nina with a slam attempt but Xia escapes and gets a near fall with a rollup. Nina with a kick and a spinning leg drop to the leg for a near fall. Nina with a seated abdominal stretch. Nina with forearms and an Irish whip. Nina with shoulders in the corner.

Nina puts Xia on the turnbuckles and Nina with a round kick and she gets Xia on her shoulders. Xia escapes and connects with a series of forearms. Xia with a La Mistica and a running double knee strike to the back followed by a running take down by the hair for a near fall. Nina with a drop toe hold into the ropes. Xia with a drop kick.

Xia misses a baseball slide and they are on the floor. Xia with a head scissors on the floor. Xia almost goes into the ring steps and Samuels brings a few bags to the apron. Nina swings and misses with the larger bag and the referee goes after the bag while Nina hits Xia in the head with a handbag for the three count.

Winner: Nina Samuels

After the match, Nina says that a Brookside is only good for carrying her bags.

Sid Scala is in the back and he is asked about when we will get the tag title match. Sid says they are trying to figure things out with Gallus. Jordan Devlin shows up and asks Sid if he is going to do his job. Jordan says he has not been told who his opponent is. Sid says he has been talking to Mr. Saint about it. Jordan wants someone who can push him.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Jack Starz is asked how things are going. Jack says things are going well and Sid Scala wants to talk to Jack.

Sid is asking Jack if he would like to wrestle Jordan Devlin tonight.

Match Number Two: Josh Morrell versus Joseph Conners (with Jinny)

They lock up and Conners pushes Morrell away. They lock up again and Conners with a head lock and snap mare. Conners with a rollup for a near fall. They lock up and Conners with a full nelson into a hammer lock. Conners with a side head lock and front face lock. Morrell with a snap mare and drop kick that sends Conners to the floor.

Conners returns to the ring after getting some advice from Jinny. Conners with a wrist lock. Morrell is sent to the mat by the hair. Conners sends Morrell into the turnbuckles. Conners with a forearm to the back and punch to the midsection. Conners with a series of short arm clotheslines for a near fall.

Conners with a crucifix for a near fall. Conners gets another near fall. Conners with a forearm to the back. Morrell with punches but Conners with a back elbow and he gets a near fall. Conners with a chin bar. Conners with a head butt to the midsection. Conners with a punch and forearm. Morrell with a sunset flip and Conners rolls through. Morrell with a leg lariat and senton. Morrell flips out of the corner and gives Conners a hip toss and gets a near fall. Morrell goes up top and he rolls through when Conners moves. Morrell with a rana and he gets a near fall. Conners with a rollup into a DDT. Conners with a straitjacket neck breaker for the three count.

Winner: Joseph Conners

We take a look at Sha Samuels. He says he comes from a family of butchers. He says being a butcher is cold and bloody. Being a butcher is rough and that is who he is. He says he has been doing this for 18 years. He has been to nightclubs, working men’s clubs and he has beaten everyone up. Now he is on the big stage. He says he had the hardest match in his debut against Joe Coffey but he took Joe to the limit. Joe may have won, but he knew he was in a fight. It will never be the same again. He says he is here to hurt people. It starts now.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Xia Brookside is looking for Sid Scala and she wants a rematch with Nina Samuels. She doesn’t care when it is but she wants it.

Tyson T-Bone says that everyone is running scared of Ilja Dragunov, but he is not running scared. I am going to go out there and fight you and beat you.

Match Number Three: Ilja Dragunov versus Tyson T-Bone

Dragunov misses a boot as the bell rings. Tyson with punches to Dragunov followed by a kick to the midsection. Ilja blocks a kick and Tyson with forearms. Ilja with an arm bar and back fist. Ilja with a front face lock. Ilja with a double wrist lock as Sam Gradwell makes his way to ringside.

Ilja with a sunset flip into a head and arm clutch. Tyson gets back to his feet and he connects with elbows. Tyson with a slam and knee drop to the head. Tyson with a knee to the back. Ilja with a wrist lock and he takes Tyson to the mat. Tyson with a leg drop but Ilja goes for the leg. Ilja with a waist lock but Tyson blocks a German suplex attempt. Tyson holds on to the ropes on an O’Connor Roll attempt. Tyson with a forearm and Ilja with a knee. Ilja goes for a Gotch suplex but Tyson blocks it. Tyson with an exploder and follows with a fallaway slam.

Tyson gets a near fall. Tyson with a forearm to the lower back and he tries for a half and half suplex but Ilja with a block. Ilja goes for the leg but Tyson avoids it. Ilja with a jumping kick to the head. Ilja charges into the corner but Tyson catches him and hits a belly-to-back suplex. Ilja with a bridge and enzuigiri. Ilja goes for a German suplex but Tyson with elbows. Tyson with more elbows followed by a half and half suplex that sends Ilja to the floor. The referee tells Gradwell to back up and while Ilja is distracted, Tyson comes up behind Ilja and hits him with a forearm. Tyson with more punches and Ilja punches back. They go back and forth and Ilja gets the advantage.

Ilja with a punch and then he kicks Tyson in the ring. Ilja with a running shoudler and then he connect with elbows until the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Ilja Dragunov (by referee stoppage)

After the match, Gradwell says that Ilja is letting his family and his son down. He tells Ilja that he needs to control his emotions. Gradwell asks Ilja if he needs a cuddle.

Ilja goes after Gradwell and officials have to hold Ilja back.

We have a video for Meiko Satomura. She says she is here in NXT UK. Ashton Smith calls Satomura a legend and it takes things to a new level with her signing. Dave Mastiff says she has been a standard bearer for wrestling all over the world. Wolfgang says she is looking forward to seeing her in NXT UK. Jinny calls her one of the best and she knows what Satomura can do. This will take the division to a new level.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Sid Scala is in the back with Amir Jordan and Sid has a phone call to make.

Match Number Four: Danny Jones versus Joe Coffey

They lock up and Coffey backs Jones into the ropes and gives a near fall. They lock up with a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock until Coffey backs Jones into the ropes. Coffey with a clean break. Jones with a slap and Coffey punches back. Coffey with a pounce to Jones followed by a side slam. Coffey with punches to the midsection and head. Coffey slaps Jones.

Jones with forearms and European uppercuts followed by a knee. Coffey with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Jones goes for a back slide but Coffey avoids it. Jones with an enzuigiri and sleeper and he gets on Coffey’s back. Coffey backs Jones into the corner to try to get out of the hold. Coffey with a snap mare followed by the Glasgow Send Off and Best for the Bells for the three count.

Winner: Joe Coffey

After the match, Coffey says last week he crossed paths with Rampage Brown. It got the sparks fired. Rampage, if you want to make a name for yourself on this brand, in NXT UK. You have to hit someone so hard they don’t want to get back up again. In NXT UK, I am the last man standing.

Rampage Brown’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring. Brown tells Joe all you had to do was ask. Any time . . . anywhere.

We take a look back at the Number One Contender Elimination Tag Match from last week when Pretty Deadly earned a future title match against Wolfgang and Mark Coffey.

Lewis says that Gallus has elevated the tag division but now it is stagnant. Sam says they will be the ones to take it to the next level. Mark says Gallus has been on top for a long time and it isn’t going to change for a long time. Wolfgang says they have been watching you. It will end one way, you two with broken jaws.

Lewis says they are living in Gallus’ heads and they cannot deal with it. When you run on anger, you make mistake and Pretty Deadly thrives on mistakes. Then it will be PDOT . . . Pretty Deadly on Top.

We are back and we have a video package for The Hunt and Eddie Dennis and their feud with Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster. They will meet in a Street Fight next week on NXT UK. Sha Samuels will be Noam Dar’s guest on the Supernova Sessions.

Jordan Devlin says that Sid Scala has been in the back looking for a challenger for the one Cruiserweight Championship. He says he has to do it himself. He tells anyone under 205 pounds to come to the ring right now.

Dave Mastiff comes out and Jordan tells Mastiff there are weight restrictions. He wants to know what Mastiff is doing here.

Dave calls Jordan ‘Captain Obvious’. He knows, like everyone else that you are keeping that title warm for Trent Seven. He is here to kick your head in.

Mastiff pushes Devlin down to the mat.

Match Number Five: Jordan Devlin versus Dave Mastiff in a Jordan Devlin Cruiserweight Open Challenge in a Non Title Match

They lock up and Devlin with a wrist lock. Mastiff with a reversal and he takes Devlin to the mat. Devlin with a side head lock and he pushes Mastiff off the ropes but Mastiff with a shoulder tackle. Mastiff with a cartwheel to avoid Devlin and he hits a back senton for a near fall. Mastiff with a reverse chin lock and elbow to the chest. Mastiff with a hard Irish whip.

Mastiff with a waist lock and German suplex for a near fall. Mastiff with forearms to the back and he returns to the waist lock. Devlin with elbows to escape but Mastiff with a forearm to the back followed by a German suplex but Devlin lands on his feet. Mastiff with an elbow. Mastiff goes for a suplex but Devlin lands on his feet and Devlin clips Mastiff. Devlin with a dragon screw leg whip followed by another clip to the leg.

Devlin drops onto the leg. Mastiff with forearms but Devlin with a kick and forearms. Mastiff with another forearm and he blocks a kick. Devlin puts Mastiff on the turnbuckles and Devlin goes for the Devil Inside but Mastiff holds on to the ropes and hits a flying shoulder tackle and both men are down. Devlin with forearms and Mastiff fires back. Mastiff with a series of forearms and a back body drop. Devlin wants Mastiff to stop and he begs for mercy and Mastiff biels Devlin across the ring. Mastiff with a splash into the corner. Mastiff with an Irish whip that sends Devlin over the top rope like he was HHH. Mastiff chases Devlin around the ring and Devlin with a kick when they return to the ring and Mastiff blocks it. Mastiff flips Devlin to the mat and he slaps Devlin. Mastiff with an Irish whip and Devlin floats over but Mastiff catches Devlin. They both go over the top rope to the floor.

Devlin gets back into the ring and he goes for a pescado but Mastiff catches Devlin and Mastiff with a Finlay roll on the floor and Mastiff holds his head after that move. Devlin falls on the floor against the ringside barrier and Mastiff breaks the count but he sees Devlin on the floor and Mastiff has an idea. Mastiff goes for a cannonball but he misses and hits the ringside barrier when Devlin moves. The referee checks on both men. Mastiff with a head butt and Devlin goes into the ring and Mastiff returns to the apron to stop the count. Mastiff goes up top and hits a diving head butt and Mastiff gets a near fall. Mastiff goes for a Finlay roll but Devlin holds on to the ropes. Devlin drop kicks Mastiff in the knee and Mastiff hits the turnbuckles. Devlin with a slingshot cutter and he goes up top for a 450 splash and gets the three count.

Winner: Jordan Devlin

We are told that Meiko Satomura debuts next week on NXT UK.
