WWE Champion Drew McIntyre joined The Rich Eisen Show today to promote his participation in Sunday’s SHAQ Bowl event and discuss the WWE Network heading to Peacock (which also distributes Eisen's Show), revealing during the appearance the WWE gimmick originally planned for him was as a Male Model. The idea was eventually discarded with McIntyre being instead introduced as The Chosen One:
