BLUE DEMON JR. SERIES ORDERED BY DISNEY CHANNEL

Ultra Violet & Blue Demon has gotten a full series order from The Disney Channel, it was announced today.

The main plot of the series features a magical luchador mask that selects 13-year-old Violet (Scarlett Estevez) to become Ultra, the superhero successor to her uncle, who is the famous Mexican wrestler and former NWA World Champion Blue Demon Jr., who is also a superhero-in-disguise. Ultra begins her own secret superhero training with her uncle, all while having to navigate the ups and downs of middle school. As they start to work together, Uncle Blue realizes he can learn a few things from Ultra’s modern Gen-Z take on crime-fighting.

Blue Demon Junior will executive produce the series as well.

The series entered development in February 2020.
