MLW sources indicate they hope there will be an announcement in a few weeks regarding the continuation of MLW Underground vintage episodes being broadcast. There was talk of them continuing to air on BeIN Sport upon the return of MLW Fusion but thus far, nothing has been announced.
The expectation within the promotion is their currently announced dates in Philadelphia and Chicago will be pushed back again in favor of empty arena tapings. The promotion is going out of their way not to promote their tapings as they don't want fans showing up outside due to the COVID-19 protocols in place. MLW management is using the Broadway industry as their unofficial barometer as to when to resume live events with fans.
The promotion is working on logistics of future special programming for the DAZN streaming service but there is no word on if or when that may be.
MLW will release the cold open for Wednesday's episode of Fusion tomorrow. It will be headlined by Richard Holliday vs. Savio Vega in a Caribbean Strap Match for the IWA Caribbean Championship. Also set for that show is Tom Lawlor responding to "negative reports" about his Filthy Island episode on 2/10.
The 2/3 episode will be headlined by National Openweight Champion Alexander Hammerstone vs. Mads Krugger in a bare-knuckle "Baklei Brawl."
