The AEW Revolution PPV will be pushed back to Sunday 3/7. The new date will be announced officially this coming week. The original scheduled date of Saturday 2/27 is being pushed back due to the Canelo Alvarez boxing PPV the same night, which would have limited how many primary PPV channels may have carried AEW. This will be the first-ever Sunday night PPV for the promotion with all signs being they will return to Saturday nights on PPV later in the year. Sting & Darby Allin vs. Team Taz in a Street Fight has been announced for the show. AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks will also defend their titles against the winners of a future Battle Royal winner. The move will give AEW another week of TV to build storylines.
In regard to emails about persistent rumors of Dynamite leaving Daily's Place in Jacksonville, that is not happening anytime in the near future and there was never any official plan to leave. The issue with potentially leaving while the pandemic continues to rage is that the company would be at the mercy of whatever venue and local government they are dealing with while in Jacksonville, Tony Khan and the Khan family have the run of Daily's Place and a great relationship with the city. So, that provides a lot of advantages they may not have if they shifted somewhere else, even temporarily.
Cody Rhodes commented on his first wrestling student maing her AEW debut this Tuesday:
This is my very first student - I never anticipated somebody would be ready this early on, but she did the work and earned this opportunity. (She was actually Britt’s “intern” when she shadowed tv). VERY tough draw for her here, but I love this! Brooke’s true first pro match. https://t.co/kPG7hgGZoa
