ZERO1 KICKING OFF TOURNAMENT TOMORROW, NOAH HIGHER GROUND TOUR RESULTS, NJPW AND MORE FROM JAPAN

Hajime Ohara missed the show after testing positive for COVID-19. YO-HEY took Ohara’s spot in the opening match teaming with Daiki Inaba and Yasutaka Yano.

Kenoh made his fourth defense of the GHC National Championship against Kazunari Murakami. After the match, Kenoh was challenged by Masakatsu Funaki.

The match will take place at Destination 2021 in the Nippon Budokan on February 12. It is the fifth match announced for the show.

NOAH has confirmed the full card for its last Higher Ground 2021 tour show in Korakuen Hall on January 31. The full card is:

Pro Wrestling ZERO1 will air the first night of its 10-man, single-elimination tournament on TwitCasting tomorrow.

The full card is:

• First round: Chris Vice vs. Satsuki Nagao
• First round: Hayato Tamura vs. Shoki Kitamura
• First round: Hartley Jackson vs. Takuya Sugawara
• First round: Masato Tanaka vs. Shinjiro Otani
• Quarterfinals: Chris Vice/Satsuki Nagao vs. Takumi Baba
• Quarterfinals: Masato Tanaka/Shinjiro Otani vs. Yoshikazu Yokoyama

Takumi Baba and Yoshikazu Yokoyama both have first-round byes. Baba will face the winner of Chris Vice versus Satsuki Nagao while Yokoyama will face the winner of Masato Tanaka versus Shinjiro Otani.

All first-round matches will have a 10-minute time limit. Both wrestlers would be eliminated in the case of a time limit draw or double countout.

The semifinals expands to a 15-minute time limit with an extra five-minute overtime period. The overtime period is also competed under two-fall rules.

The tournament final does not have a time limit.
