UPDATE:

Larry King's family issued the following statement:

Larry King, the renowned talk show host who rose to international fame after hosting a nightly show for over 25 years on CNN, passed away this morning in Los Angeles following a battle with COVID-19, it was announced this morning by his production company, Ora Media.  King was hospitalized last month due to the disease.

A lifelong wrestling fan, King featured pro wrestling guests on CNN's Larry King Live over the years when major pro wrestling stories broke out into the mainstream, including the WWF steroid and sex scandals of 1992, the aftermath of the Chris Benoit family tragedy, including Vince McMahon, Bruno Sammartino, Roddy Piper, Hulk Hogan, Chris Jericho and others.

King and his then-wife Shawn guest hosted Monday Night Raw in October 2012, being named the Social Media Ambassador for the brand and interacting with The Miz, Daniel Bryan, John Cena and others.

After leaving CNN and opening Ora Media, King continued to interview pro wrestling personalities on his series Larry King Now:
