WWE 205 LIVE REPORT: THE WAY VERSUS DOLIN AND JADE, CIAMPA AND THATCHER VERSUS DAIVARI AND NESE

We start off with a look at the Dusty Classic matches from NXT and the injuries suffered by Desmond Troy and Ashante Thee Adonis.

We are at the Capitol Wrestling Centre and your announcers are Nigel McGuinness and Vic Joseph.

Match Number One:  Gigi Dolin and Cora Jade versus Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell in a First Round Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Match

Hartwell and Jade start things off.  They lock up and Hartwell sends Jade to the mat.  Jade with forearms but Hartwell with a knee.  Dolin tags in and she kicks Hartwell.  Jade with a kcik and Dooin with a forearm.  Hartwell with a clothesline and LeRae tags in.  Candice chokes Dolin in the ropes and connects with a forearm.  Candice with kicks.  Dolin backs Candice into the corner and Jade tags in and hits a running knee into the corner.  Hartwell distracts Jade and Candice with a clothesline for a near fall.  Candice slams Jade's head into the mat.  Candice works on the neck and sends Jade into the turnbuckles and hits a running back elbow.  Indi tags in and clotheslines Jade.

Hartwell gets a near fall.  Hartwell with a cravate.  Jade with elbows and Hartwell with a side slam for a near fall.  Candice tags in and she snap mares Jade by the hair and applies a rear chin lock.  Jade with elbows and an uppercut.  Jade with a back elbow to Candice.  Candice misses a splash and Candice stops Jade.  Dolin tags in and so does Hartwell.  Dolin wiht kicks to the ribs and knee.  Dolin with a kick to the jaw and she knocks Candice off the apron.  Dolin with a bicycle kick for a near fall.

Dolin with forearms and Jade tags in.  They go for a double suplex but Hartwell blocks it and Hartwell kicks Jade and Dolin.  Hartwell with a delayed vertical suplex to Dolin and then Candice tags in and Jade with a rollup for a near fall.  Jade with another rollup for a near fall.  Jade gets another near fall.  Candice with a rolup for a near fall.  Hartwell tags in and she hits a side slam for the three count.

Winners:  Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae (advance to face winner of Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon versus Zoey Stark and Marina Shafir)

We go to commercial.

We are back and we are reminded that Curt Stallion will face Santos Escobar for the Cruiserweight Title.  We will have three Dusty Classic matches with two men's matches and a women's match.

Match Number Two:  Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher versus Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari in a First Round Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Match

Daivari and Thatcher start things off.  THey lock up and Thatcher with a chin lock.  Thatcher with a side head lock and take down.  Thatcher with a hammer lock and then he turns it into a bow and arrow and he gets a near fall.  Thatcher with a front face lock.  Daivari with a waist lock and Nese tags in while Thatcher goes for a hammer lock.  Nese with a rollup but Thatcher with a single leg pick.  Thatcher with an arm bar and Ciampa wants to be tagged in and Thatcher does it.

Ciampa with an arm bar and he takes Nese to the mat.  Ciampa with a side head lock.  Nese with an escape and Ciampa returns to the side head lock take down.  Ciampa goes for an O'Connor Roll but Nese holds on to the ropes.  Nese with a take down but Ciampa with a front face lock.  Daivari tags in and Ciampa fights his way out of the corner.  Nese trips Ciampa as he goes to the floor.  Daivari wrings the legs into the ring posts.  Daivari with kicks to the hamstring.  Daivari kicks Ciampa in the leg and drops an elbow to the leg.  Daivari sets for a figure four leg lock and locks it in.

Ciampa tries to get to his corner and Nese with a forearm that draws Thatcher in.  Nese pulls Daivari into the corner and tags in.  Nese kicks Ciampa.  Daivari tags in and they make a wish with Ciampa.  Thatcher punches Nese from the apron.  Ciampa with an enzuigiri and Thatcher wtags in and hits a belly-to-belly suplex on Daivari and then Nese.  Thatcher with European uppercuts to Nese and Daivari.  Thatcher goes for a crossface chicken wing on Nese and then Thatcher with an achilles lock on Daivari.  Nese drops Thatcher on the top rope.  Nese tags in and hits a double jump moonsault.  Daivari tags in and hits the frog splash but Ciampa breaks up the cover.

Nese tags in and Thatcher kicks Nese away.  Ciampa tags in and punches and chops Nese and Daivari.  Nese with a drop kick to the knee.  Nese and Daivari go to teh turnbuckels but Ciampa with a knee to Nese and Thatcher takes care of Daivari.   Ciampa with Willow's Bell on Nese for the three count.

Winners:  Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher (advance to face Undisputed Era)
