TWO TITLE BOUTS AND HARDCORE WAR: CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING FROM HOLLYWOOD EPISODE 500 PART TWO REPORT

Todd Keneley and Dave Marquez are your hosts and it’s time to “Fight On”.

United World Tag Team Championship Match: 4 Minutes of Heat (“Rock God” Ricky Gibson & “Freak Nasty” Eddie Pearl) vs The Bodega* (Danny “Limelight” Rivera & Popo Esco)

Popo Esco starts for the champs against Ricky Gibson. Gibson grabs a headlock but is quickly overwhelmed by Esco’s size. Gibson thrown into the corner and tries to arm drag Esco which fails miserably. Esco with a shoulder block and Gibson is bounced to the outside. Both teams make a tag and Pearl is in vs Limelight. Pearl with a drop kick and arm drag into a shoulder lock. Limelight escapes, Pearl kicks him and runs up the the corner and does a sunset flip of the second rope for a 2 count. Tag to Gibson and they shoot Limelight into the ropes and give him a double team arm drag slam. Gibson covers for a couple of 1 counts then puts on an arm bar to control Limelight. Tag into Pearl, cover for 1 and back into a arm bar. Another tag and Limelight is whipped into the ropes and thrown into the air, he lands on the mat and is covered for 2. Limelight goes for a sunset flip pin attempt of his own for a 2 count. He runs to the corner and decks Pearl and covers Gibson for a 2 count. Tag to Popo, a kick from Limelight as he exits and a drop headbutt from Esco into a cover and a kick out at 2. Gibson tries to fight back with ineffective chops. He runs the ropes but gets nailed with a clothesline and is down. Tag to Limelight who does a senton over the ropes onto Gibson, he gets up and Esco throws him in the air and he drops an elbow onto Gibson. Cover for 2. Pearl enters the ring and the ref stops him which allows The Bodega to get in some more double team action. Rivera takes over, Gibson gets some body blows in but Limelight recovers with some kicks and then a tag to Popo. He picks up Gibson and puts him on the top rope and gives him multiple headbutts to the sternum. Gibson falls and is able to give Esco a drop kick to create separation and he finally tags Pearl. Limelight comes in and Pearl with a drop kick on Esco and a reverse atomic drop onto Limelight. A regular atomic drop sends Rivera into the turnbuckle, he bounces back to Pearl and is back dropped. Esco is dazed and 4 Minutes of Heat get in a double team Russian Leg Sweep/Backstabber and Esco is down and covered. Limelight makes the save with a stomp onto Pearl. All four men in the ring now. Esco knocks Gibson into the bottom rope, Limelight climbs to the top and gives him a Coup de Grace. Gibson to the floor. Pearl tries another sunset flip onto Esco who sits on him, Rivera on the outside grabs Esco’s hand for extra leverage and the 3 count is made.

Reality of Wrestling Texas Championship: E.J. Sparks vs Will Allday (C).

Before the bell rings Allday smacks Sparks with the title belt and Sparks is out on the floor. Sparks finally makes it in the ring and says he can go. The bell rings and Allday hits him with a running forearm in the corner and goes for a quick pin fall. Kick out at 2. Allday with strikes and a kick for another near fall. Sparks grabs an arm and whips Allday into the corner. He jumps on the 2nd rope and hits Sparks with an enziguri. Allday tries to pick up Sparks but he falls twice. Referee checks on him. He’s back up and is able to kick Allday in the head and they both fall to the mat. They get up and Sparks is able to land some kicks and hits a cutter for a 2 count. Sparks with an elbow to Allday’s face, two kicks and a V-Trigger. Allday is rocked but is able to get in a super kick into an attempted bridge German suplex. 1,2,3

Another referee comes in and says Allday’s shoulders were down and raises Sparks hand. A 3rd referee comes in and makes the decision that both competitors shoulders were down. The match is officially a “no-contest”. Allday retains the title but is angry and chases Adnan Kureishy out of the arena after he makes the announcement.

The Joseph Franciosi Memorial Gimmick Battle Royal: Piranha-Canrana, Ryan Burroughs, The Hobo, Jody Sutton, Guy Cool, Devin Sparks, Mike Camden, Voodoo Kaos, James Morgan, Mikey O’Shea, Sweet Robin Shaw, Dr. Phil Good, Killer Kevin Condry, Mr. Classic, 4 Minutes of Heat (Pearl & Gibson)

Battle Royal comes down to Sparks eliminating The Hobo before being choked out and eliminated by James Morgan.

So.Cal Distancing (Andy Brown & Dom Kubrick & Miguel) vs Ray Rosas and ? In an “unsanctioned hardcore match”.

Rosas cuts a promo saying his actions over the Summer made it hard to find anyone on the plant who would want to tag with him but he found someone from off-world.

The familiar music of RockNES Monsters plays and we see Kevin Martensen sneak onto the top rope and hits Brown & Kubrick with a missile drop kick. He kips up and batters Miguel. Rosas into the ring, he hits Miguel with the Arizona State Championship belt as BHK also kicks him in the face. Miguel no sells and Rosas bashes him with the belt a few more times and Miguel drops to one knee. BHK stomps Brown in the corner and Kubrick tries to make the save. Rosas goes to the outside and grabs the ring bell using it on Miguel. Andy Brown tries to stop him but BHK cuts him off. Miguel levels BHK and Rosas. Kubrick and Brown with a flurry of punches on Rosas and BHK, Miguel comes over and nails both guys with the title belt. Brown and BHK go at it on the outside while Kubrick and Miguel go after Rosas. Rosas to the back and retrieves a chair and hits Miguel. BHK takes the steel steps and bashes Miguel in the head. Rosas in the ring with Kubrick. Miguel pops up and gets in the ring to help Dom. Andy Brown to the back and he brings a ladder to the ring. Miguel gives BHK the Falcon Arrow and Kubrick off the top rope with the ring bell hammer hitting a prone BHK in the chin. Rosas & Martensen are in trouble.

Brown pummels Rosas on the stage. Miguel gives BHK and avalanche in the ring. Rosas back in the ring and he puts the ladder around BHK’s neck, he spins around nailing all three members of So.Cal Distancing. Rosas hits them all with a chair. BHK to the back and he gets a kendo stick. Brown recovers enough to whip Rosas into the ropes and back drops him onto the ladder. Martensen tries to hit Brown with the kendo but is kicked by Kubrick. Kubrick lays into BHK with the kendo stick while Miguel attacks Rosas with a double axe-handle. BHK with the ladder around his neck again but he’s hit with a chair multiple times as Kubrick makes Rosas watch. Andy Brown with the COD, Rosas breaks up the pin at 2 and is hit by Miguel. Brown tries to pile drive BHK on the apron but he is backdropped onto the hardest part of the ring. Miguel goes for a cannonball in but misses a fallen Ray. BHK with kicks taking out Kubrick. Rosas dives onto Brown and gets back in the ring quickly and grabs Kubrick. Kubrick thrown into the corner, Ray gives him a splash and BHK with a step up enziguri (PPRAY’s “Slash & Dash”) Rosas goes for a pin but Kubrick kicks out at the last moment. They then do RockNES’s finisher “Weapons Grade Plutonium” but Andy Brown is able to break up the pin. Rosas blocks a package piledriver onto a chair and gives Brown a Death Valley Driver. He gets the ladder and drops the Macho Elbow from the top. 1,2,3
