BEN CARTER COMMENTS ON THE SERIES OF EVENTS THAT LED TO HIM SIGNING WITH WWE

NXT UK star Ben Carter took to Twitter today to publicly state he had an offer extended to him by WWE before he appeared for AEW and Impact Wrestling in the United States.  It appears he is respoding to chatter that WWE signed him as a result of Carter competing on an episode of AEW Dynamite last year. 

Carter was originally trained by Seth Rollins at Rollins' Black and Brave Wrestling Academy in Iowa.  PWInsider.com is told that WWE was aware of Carter before he even debuted for Game Changer Wrestling, which is where he made his first splash among fans online.

Carter wrote:

Carter debuted for NXT UK several weeks ago and will return to action next Thursday on the WWE Networ series.
