NOAH STAR TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19, TENZAN RETURNS TO THE RING, BIG JAPAN, FREEDOMS AND MORE FROM JAPAN

Pro Wrestling NOAH has announced Hajime Ohara tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday.

NOAH is set to continue its Higher Ground 2021 tour in EDION Arena Osaka #2 tomorrow and Ohara will not compete at the show. Per NOAH’s statement on its website (available here), Ohara is not experiencing any symptoms at the moment.

As of the publishing of this article, Ohara’s replacement or any other changes to the card have not been announced. The previously confirmed card for tomorrow’s show was:

• Daiki Inaba, Hajime Ohara and Yasutaka Yano vs. Haoh, Nioh and Tadasuke
• Manabu Soya and Masa Kitamiya vs. Mohammed Yone and Shuhei Taniguchi
• Junta Miyawaki vs. Katsuhiko Nakajima
• Atsushi Kotoge and Daisuke Harada vs. Seiki Yoshioka and YO-HEY
• Ikuto Hidaka, Kotaro Suzuki and NOSAWA Rongai vs. HAYATA, Yoshinari Ogawa and Yuya Susumu

Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS

Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS has announced two more matches ahead of its show in Korakuen Hall on February 9.

Firstly, Mammoth Sasaki and Violento Jack will attempt their twelfth defense of the King of FREEDOM Tag Team Championships against Minoru Fujita and Rina Yamashita.

Secondly, Jun Kasai and Kenji Fukimoto will team against Masashi Takeda and Takayuki Ueki. Takeda left UNCHAIN to align with Toshiyuki Sakuda and Ueki at FREEDOMS’ show in Shin-Kiba 1st Ring yesterday.

Real Japan Pro Wrestling

Real Japan Pro Wrestling will hold a show in Korakuen Hall on April 22 to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of Satoru Sayama debuting the Tiger Mask character.

Real Japan has also rescheduled its January 28 show in Korakuen Hall – which was cancelled due to the state of emergency in Tokyo – to March 3.

Colega Pro Wrestling

Bodyguard’s new Colega Pro Wrestling promotion aired its fourth show today on YouTube.

The full show can be watched on the attachment below. The main event was Bodyguard and Tsubasa versus Daimonji So and Ryouji Sai.

All Japan Pro Wrestling

All Japan Pro Wrestling has announced it will hold a show in Yokohama on March 8 as part of its Dream Power Series tour.

It is the fourth date announced for the tour, the others being March 6 in Shin-Kiba 1st Ring, March 14 in Korakuen Hall and March 21 in KBS Hall.

New Japan Pro Wrestling will hold its fifth Road to The New Beginning show in Ota City General Gymnasium tomorrow.

The full card is:

• Dick Togo, EVIL and Yujiro Takahashi vs. Kazuchika Okada, Tomohiro Ishii and YOSHI-HASHI
