WWE NXT UK REPORT: RAY VERSUS JINNY, DRAGUNOV RETURNS TO THE RING, AND MORE

We begin with a look at how Jinny earned her chance at the NXT UK Women’s Championship.

We are in London, England and your announcers are Nigel McGuinness and Andy Shepherd.

Match Number One: Rampage Brown versus Dave Mastiff

They lock up and go to a stalemate. They lock up again and Brown with a side head lock. Brown tries for a shoulder tackle but he bounces off Mastiff. They lock up and Mastiff with a side head lock. Mastiff goes for a shoulder tackle and he bounces off Brown. They lock up and Brown with a side head lock. Brown and Mastiff charge at each other in the center of the ring many times. They go back and forth with forearms. Mastiff with a side head lock and Brown with a drop kick.

Brown with punches and he tries to get Mastiff on his shoulders but he cannot do it. Mastiff with a drop kick. Mastiff with forearms. Mastiff with a forearm across the chest and he puts Brown on the turnbuckles. Brown with boots to Mastiff and Brown with a flying shoulder tackle off the turnbuckles. Brown with crossfaces to Mastiff followed by a boot to the head. Brown with an elbow drop for a near fall. Brown with a sleeper into a reverse chin lock. Mastiff with elbows and Brown tries for a Doctor Bomb. Mastiff with a back body drop and he drops down onto Brown’s chest. Mastiff with forearms.

Mastiff with a forearm and back senton. Mastiff runs into a boot in the corner and Brown comes off the turnbuckles into a clothesline.

Mastiff with an pump handle suplex for a near fall. Brown with a boot and clothesline for a near fall. Brown with a clothesline but Mastiff stays on his feet. Mastiff with a forearm to the back and a German suplex. Mastiff goes for Into the Void but Brown goes to the apron. Mastiff goes to the turnbuckles but Brown knocks Mastiff off the turnbuckles. Brown with a Saito suplex and Doctor Bomb for the three count.

Winner: Rampage Brown

We go to A-Kid to reflect on his match against WALTER for the NXT UK Championship. He says he is proud how he represented the Heritage Cup Championship against WALTER. I came up short this time, but next time will be different.

We go to commercial.

We are back with Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan shows up. Kenny mentions Amir’s match against Tyson T-Bone. Kenny says you are thinking that Tyson is going to destroy you but you will be the lucky one tonight.

Match Number Two: Jack Starz versus Ilja Dragunov

They lock up and Starz with a clean break. They lock up and Dragunov with an arm drag into a wrist lock. Starz with a back drop and reversal into a wrist lock. Dragunov with a reversal but Starz with a drop kick. Dragunov with a judo throw into a side head lock. Dragunov with a side head lock take down but Starz with a side head lock of his own.

Ilja with a hip toss and Starz gets a rollup for a near fall. Starz with an O’Connor Roll for a near fall. Starz with a sunset flip for a near fall. Starz with a clothesline but Dragunov with a spinebuster into a side head lock. Dragunov with a shoulder tackle and Starz goes for a cross body but Ilja catches him. Ilja with a chop.

Starz with a clothesline and he goes for a rana but Ilja blocks it. Starz gets to his feet and hits a German suplex for a near fall. Starz with European uppercuts. Starz with a chop to the back of the neck. Dragunov slaps Starz and kicks him in the head. Ilja with chops and forearms in the corner. Dragunov with a front face lock suplex followed by a German suplex. Dragunov with another German suplex and he connects with knees to the chest. Dragunov with a wrist clutch slam and he hits Torpedo Moscow to the back and he connects with a series of elbows until the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Ilja Dragunov (by referee stoppage)

After the match, Ilja sees the referee checking on Starz and Ilja is not sure of what to make of it.

We see Jinny in the back as she prepares for her match against Kay Lee Ray.

We take a look back at Ben Carter’s debut match against Jordan Devlin for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship. Ben will be in action next week.

Sam Gradwell says it must be exciting to watch Ben Carter. He did push the cruiserweight champion to the limit but we will see what happens when I send him back to Jersey.

Match Number Three: Tyson T-Bone versus Amir Jordan (with Kenny Williams)

They lock up and Tyson pushes Jordan away and Jordan with a forearm. Jordan with a side head lock and he holds on to the side head lock. Tyson with forearms and Jordan lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt. Jordan with a side head lock. Tyson with a shoulder tackle. Tyson with a clothesline and a back breaker. Tyson with a fallaway slam. Tyson with chops but Jordan with a kick.

Tyson with a punch and kick to Jordan. Tyson with a forearm and punches. Tyson kicks Jordan and connects with a forearm to the lower back. Tyson with another forearm to the lower back and Tyson gets a near fall. Jordan with elbows and a chop. Tyson drops Jordan to the mat to counter a monkey flip and then Tyson catapults Jordan into the bottom rope.

Tyson gets a near fall. Tyson with a nerve hold and knees to the back. Tyson with a crossface. Tyson with a sleeper and Jordan gets to his feet and hits a jaw breaker. Jordan with kicks to the leg and a forearm. Jordan with a clothesline but Tyson stays on his feet. Jordan with a drop kick. Tyson misses an elbow drop and Tyson with a back body drop. Tyson misses a splash into the corner when Jordan moves. Tyson catches Jordan on a cross body and Jordan counters into a sunset flip but Tyson stays on his feet. Tyson drops down and Jordan counters into a rollup for the three count.

Winner: Amir Jordan

After the match, Amir celebrates his victory with Kenny, but Kenny does not appear to share the same excitement as his tag team partner.

We see Kay Lee Ray walking in the back as she makes her way to the ring for her match.

Xia Brookside tells Nina Samuels she beat her fair and square and then you jumped me after the match. You cost me the match with Isla Dawn. This is not the Nina Samuels Show. Now you want to drag my family’s name through the dirt. You will see what a Brookside is truly capable of.

We have a video package for the Number One Contender Match for the NXT Tag Titles.

We are told that Eddie Dennis will be banned from accompanying The Hunt next week in the number one contender match.

Match Number Four: Kay Lee Ray versus Jinny (with Joseph Conners) for the NXT UK Women’s Championship

They lock up and go into the corner and the referee has to separate them. They lock up and Ray with a wrist lock and she takes Jinny to the mat. Ray with a boot to the head. Jinny pushes Ray and Ray with a slap. Jinny with an arm bar and she takes Ray to the mat. Ray with a forearm and she sends Jinny into the turnbuckles. Ray with forearms and the referee warns the champion.

Jinny with kicks in the corner and the referee warns the challenger. Ray with kicks to the leg. Ray with a drop kick for a near fall. Ray with a gourdbuater and she gets a near fall. Ray goes to the turnbuckles and she leaps over Jinny but her knee gives out a bit. Jinny with a Japanese arm drag into the turnbuckles for a near fall. Ray goes to the floor and Jinny follows.

Jinny sends Ray into the apron and then into the ring steps. Jinny with forearms as they continue on the floor. Jinny breaks the count and goes back to the floor. Jinny with a forearm to the back. Ray backs Jinny into the ringside barrier. Jinny sends Ray into the apron and Jinny breaks the count and they both return to the ring. Jinny with forearms and she gets a near fall. Jinny sends Ray into the turnbuckles. Jinny with a hard Irish whip and she gets a near fall.

Ray slaps Jinny and Jinny with a forearm. Jinny with a rocking chair but Ray will not give up. Jinny with boots to the back and Ray gets to the ropes to force a break. Jinny gets a near fall. Jinny with a reverse chin lock and she pulls the hair and the referee warns her. Jinny with a forearm but misses a clothesline. Jinny with rolling kicks and Ray with a super kick and both women are down.

Ray with a forearm and Jinny fires back. They continue the exchange with Ray getting the first advantage until Jinny connects with a knee. Ray with a super kick and DDT for a near fall. Ray with a Koji Clutch but Jinny refuses to give up. Jinny gets a near fall while in the Koji Clutch. Jinny with a facebuster and she hits a short arm clothesline for a near fall.

Jinny with forearms to the back. Ray with a chop and she goes for the Gory Bomb but Conners gets on the apron and distracts Ray. Jinny with a knee to the midsection and she puts Ray in the turnbuckles for a The Makeover and the referee sees Conners trying to help Jinny on the cover so the referee sends him to the back.

Conners grabs the title belt and Ray with a rollup for a near fall. Ray with a super kick and she goes to the floor to get the title belt from Conners. Ray punches Conners. Jinny tries to hit Ray with the title belt and misses. The referee takes the belt from Jinny and Ray with a Gory Bomb for the three count.

Winner: Kay Lee Ray (Retains Championship)
