It's Wednesday and you know what that means. A new episode of AEW Dynamite.
We're at Daily's Place in Jacksonville Florida, our announcers are Jim Ross, Excalibur, and Tony Schiavone and we're off to a hot start!
It's -1's (Brody Lee's son) birthday, so we see the promo he cut on Luther on Dark as the Dark Order comes to the ring. John Silver lets us know that Adam Page is going to be their new recruit. He then let's us know it's -1's birthday and they have a cake. He leads the crowd in singing Happy Birthday. It's interrupted by Luthor and Sirpentico. Luthor cuts a promo on -1.
The brawl begins with The Hybrid 2 joins in. Adam Page comes out to leap off the stage into everyone..
Hangman Page & Dark Order vs. Hybrid2 & Chaos Project.
We start with Silver and Angelico entering the ring. Silver and Reynolds whip Angelico off the ropes and into an assisted uppercut by Silver, leading to a two count with Evan breaking it up. Angelico is able to get in a few boots on Silver and tags in Luthor. Luther hits a suplex and covers Silver for a two count. Evans tags in and is dropped on Silver. Sirpentico tags in and is also dropped on Silver and covers for a two count. Sirpentico tags in and starts to work over Silver. Silver is tossed to the corner, and as he follows in, Silver grabs him, dropping him face first on the top turnbuckle.
Silver is able to tag in Page. Page draws in Evans and Page takes them both out. Angelico comes in and is taken out in a corner as well. Sirpentico runs at Page and Page catches him with an over the top release suplex. Page covers for a two count, and it's broken up and everyone is in the ring. TH2 and Chaos project are dumped out of the ring. We get each person into the ring to get spotlight moves. When the match gets back in the ring it's Page holding Silver and Reynolds, who backdrops them on to Sirpentico and Cabana covers for the two count.
Reynolds goes to the top after a tag and gets pushed off the top by Luthor. Sirpentico hits a quick DDT and Evans hits a 450 splash for a two count with Page breaking it up.
On the stage, Luthor sets up to power bomb Colt Cabana into the cake on the stage and -1 hits him with a Kendo stick. Colt then drops Luthor into the cake.
In the ring, a flurry of offense on Sirpentico and Page ending it with a buck lariat from the apron. Reynolds hits a jack knife pin from Reynolds and a three count.
Your winners: The Dark Order and Adam Page
On the stage, Sirpentico is held by the Dark Order as -1 nails him the Kendo stick and his revenge is complete. -1 then tells the Dark Order his birthday was three days ago and throws papers at Sirpentico. John Silver praises Adam Page for how handsome he is, how good a wrestler he is and how he has great hair. He asks Page if he will join the Dark Order. Page says he can't the banners and musc start saying “He said yes!”
Page says the group thing didn't work so well for him before and he left down the heel entryway.
The announcers go down the card for the night.
In the back, Alex Marvez asks Jericho and MJF about the match to determine which Inner Circle Tag Team goes forward to try to get the tag team titles. MJF says he is concerned about the match tearing them apart. Jericho puts over how it will make the Inner Circle stronger and he and MJF will win.
We go to commercials.
We come back to Tony in the ring to go over last week's main event, and Sting has something to say to Darby Allin after Darby beat Brian Cage last week. Snow starts falling and Sting comes to the ring. Tony then announces Darby Allin who is next out to the ring.
Sting says that there is something about Darby that reminds him of himself and he congratulates Darby. He didn't want to interrupt the match and wanted to make sure it was a fair fight.
At this point, Taz shows on the Big Screen and gives his version of what happened in the match. He feels that they fight dirty, and Team Taz has been gentlemen. Taz says that since they want to be street fighters, the ball is in their court.
Sting and Darby whisper to each other, and Darby says if they want to take it to the streets, they need to be careful what they wish for, as if just might happen. They go through the snow to the back and we go to commercial.
We come back to a quick video to promote Thunder Rosa vs Britt Baker at Beach Blast.
We then go to a meeting of the Elite at Kenny's beach house. The Young Bucks show up and Michael Nakazawa brings them in formally and has them wait in his living room, where they see an oil painting of Kenny and Don Callis, with Don being shirtless in the painting. and incredibly buff. The Bucks complain about Don's change of the match last week, and Don talks it away as a mistake in the production truck. The Bucks demand to speak to Kenny and Don says he isn't there. Don says that Kenny changed his number and the Bucks didn't get the new number.
Don says that they can clear the air, and Don tells Michale to take Alex and the camera guy to the dungeon. Don says that they don't have time to hang with Kenny, and he gives the Bucks a check to give Kenny his space. They say they made that much last week, and Don offers them another check. They say that Don wasn't there for him when times were hard, and Don says it's time for Kenny to leave his past behind. The Bucks tear up the checks, saying that they were at his company in the past and the check would probably bounce.
The camera goes dark as the Bucks take off their jackets and sounds like they attacked him.,
On his way to the ring is Pretty Peter Avalon. Then is Cody's Elaborate Entrance with Arn Anderson and the Waffle House menu. The announcers say that Cody said he would beat Avalon in less than a minute.

Avalon runs at Cody and takes CrossRhodes. Then, Jade Cargill's music hits and she comes to the ring. She motions for Cody to pin Avalon, who nails Cody with a low blow. Avalon presses the advantage with kicks and chops in the corner. Cody reverses and drops Avalon with a drop down uppercut. Cody goes to the top and Avalon goes to the top with him, and takes Cody over with a super plex.
Cody rolls to the outside of the ring and Avalon follows to keep working on Cody's leg. Cody rolls into the ring and Avalon comes in and is able to hit Cody with a suplex and covers for a one count. Cody is able to get up and they drop each other with a double clothesline. As Avalon presses his advantage, we go picture in picture.
On the small screen, Avalon keeps up the attack on Cody's leg. We come back to Avalon going to the top and trying for a moonsault and Cody rolls out of the way. They run the ropes and when Cody goes over, Avalon runs into his injured leg. Cody rolls to the outside and Avalon hits a Tope on Cody outside the ring. Cody is rolled into the ring and when Avalon goes off the ropes at him, Cody hits a cutter out of nowhere.
Cody is able to hit Avalon with a power slam. Cody then slaps on the figure four and Avalon is able to roll them over to reverse the hold. They roll back and Avalon slaps Cody. Cody goes to slap him back and Avalon taps.
Your winner: Cody
We go to the back for an interview with FTR and Tully and Tully says they are finally number one in the rankings. Jurassic Express showed up and Jungle Boy says last week showed him he could beat them. Dax steps up and jacks his jaw at him, and Luchasaurus says he will be at ringside to make sure no one gets involved.
Jungle Boy and Dax shake hands.
Jon Moxley's music hits in the arena and he comes to the ring from the parking lot.
And we go away from the ring for a commercial.
We come back. We come back and Nick Comorado is in the ring and he will be taking on Jon Moxley tonight.
Jon Moxley vs Nick Comorado
Mox attacks as the bell rings and gets unanswered offense until Nick is able to hit Mox with a stampede slam. Nick then gets in kicks on Mox in the corner. Nick gets to dominate for a bit until he runs at Mox in the corner and Mox ets out of the way. Mox is able to take back over with kicks while on his knees. Mox is able to hit him with a suplex. Mox hits a clothesline to no effect, but Mox leaps on Nick's back and locks on the sleeper/. Nick goes out and Mox wins.
Your winner: Jon Moxley
Mox calls for a mic. Mox says anything can happen on Wednesday night, and he can't keep track of who is in what group, but he doesn't care. He says Kenny would bring his frat boosters from Nashville and all he did was make it more fun and interesting. Mox will fight through it all. Mox will climb back up the mountain, Kenny can bring whoever he wants, it doesn't matter, all roads lead through him.
Backstage, Dasha is with Eddie Kingston and he will face Lance Archer next week. Eddie says he won't prepare, he just fights. Lance shows up and they get in each other's face. Jake runs his mouth as well at Eddie and we go to commercial.
When we get back,Kenny Omega shows in the back and Alex Marvez asks if he has any comment about what happened at his house. Kenny has no idea what he is talking about and bemoans how he has no privacy. Kenny then sees Don Callis and asks about the bruise he has. Don says he doesn't want Kenny to worry about him, and then lets it slip out that Matt and Nick were involved and Don drives Alex Marvez out of the locker room.
Next out are Matt Sydal and Top Flight. Next out are Private Party, who are no longer from a place you need an exclusive invitation to go to nor do they weigh 24 ounces of vodka cranberry, and Matt Hardy.
Top Flight and Matt Sydal vs Private Party and Matt Hardy
To keep up, it's bullet point time.
We start with Marq Quen and Dante in the ring. They shake hands and it leads to everyone coming in for drop kicks and Top Flight and Matt win the exchange.
Lots of flips and moves from Top Flight and Matt ending with Matt covering for a two count.
Quen gets up and goes off on Matt with blows. Isiah comes in and sets up for a double team, and Top Flight comes in and they all tie into a quick hold.
Quen hits a diving crossbody on Matt and covers for a two count.
Isiah tags in and we go to picture in picture
Hardy tags in on the small screen and slows the pace down before tagging in Quen
They keep Matt in the corner and tag in and out.
When we come back, Matt is fighting his way past Hardy, and Hardy drives him back into his corner.
Isiah tags in and holds Matt from tagging out.
Isiah tags in Quen and they go for a double suplex. Matt lands on his feet, pop Hardy on the apron and takes down Private Party in order to get to his corner for the tag to Darius
Darius cleans house.
Darius hits a standing Spanish Fly on Isiah.
Hardy comes in for a twist of fate, but Daris stop it, tosses him over the top and hits a Tope onto the floor.
Darius tags in Dante, and they toss Isiah into the ropes.
Private Party goes for the silly strip, but Top Flight blocks it, and sets Isiah up for a stomp and a European clutch for a two count.
Darius is tagged in and and when Top Flighty goes for a double team, Isiah tosses them into each other.
Hardy tags in and he is able to hit side effects on all three members of the other team and covers all three for a two count
Hardy tags in Quen and Quen hits Matt with an enziguiri and a two count
All three men are in the ring, Hardy and Isah are thrown out.
We get a series of moves from Matt and Top Flight on Quen, and when Quen is covered for the pin, Hardy and Isiah come in to break it up.
Quen is set up on the top and Matt pushes Darius to the outside. Isiah nails Dante with a chair while the Ref is trying to get Matt to back off
Quen hits a shooting star press and covers Dante for the three count.
Your winners: Private Party and Matt Hardy
After the match, Private Party, Sydal and Top Flight have words, and a fight breaks out. They take out Sydal and Top Fight and as they are standing tall, we go to MJF in the back.
MJF cand Wardlow go into the locker room of the Inner Circle. He says that he'd rather not be fighting, but Jericho says they have to. Sammy gets in his face, and He is cooled down by the other members of the Inner Circle and MJF calms him down. MJF goes to shake hands and Sammy says “We're not there yet.”
Back at the ring, Legit Leyla Hirsch is on her way to the ring. We see that Orange Cassidy is in the crowd watching. Next out is Penelope Ford with Kip Sabian, Miro and his butler Charles Taylor, in a full tux.
Penelope Ford vs Leyla Hirsch
They tie up and no one gets an advantage. They go for waist-locks and Layla takes Ford down and Ford has to fight her way to her feet. Layla drops her down again and gets a one count. They get to their feet, Ford slaps on a headlock and they go to a rope break. They run the ropes and Charles is advised to trip Layla, which he does.
Layla is able to get a cross arm breaker on Ford in the middle of the ring after Ford botches a springboard. Ford gets a rope break and they roll to the outside where all of the Ford team can get in shots as we go to picture in picture. Ford keeps control through the commercial.
We come back to Ford getting a two count of Layla. They trade strikes in the middle of the ring. Layla cathces Ford's leg and then hits a suplex on Ford. Ford is tossed to the corner where Layla keeps up the attack, pulls her to the mat and covers for a two count. Layla then goes to the top and Ford pulls her down. Ford goes for an ax kick and Layla dodges and takes down Ford with a clothesline. Layla drags Ford to the middle of the ring, runs up the ropes and then leaps on Charles and Kip. When Layla comes back in, Ford gets a kick in while Layla is coming in the ring, and Ford then covers Layla for a three count as Kip holds Layla's foot.
Your winner: Penelope Ford.
Afterward, Miro calls Charles into the ring and he tells him to tell Orange Cassidy that Miro is his best friend now. Cassidy stand up and Charles says Miro is his bets friend now after a lot fo prompting.
Cassidy walks up the aisle and Ford and her crew leave the ring as we are told something is going on backstage.
Backstage, Penta is being attacked by Gallows and Anderson, with Kenny Omega in pinstripe pants joining in. Kenny take off his boot and attacks Penta with it.
The announcers give us a run down of next week's matches. We then get a rundown of commercials.
It's time for our main event and it's MJF and Chris Jericho out first. Leva leads the singalong of Jericho's music. Next out are Sammy and Hager. And yes, Sammy Hagar shows up praising them on a video clip. Finally, Santana and Ortiz come to the ring.
MJF and Jericho vs Sammy and Hager vs Santana and Ortiz
We start with Sammy and MJF going face to face. MJF then tags Jericho and the crowd chants Tag Team Slut. They tie up and Jericho works them to the corner. They tie up again and they start slapping each other and run the ropes. Sammy clotheslines Jericho over the top/. Sammy fakes out a leap and poses.
Jericho enters the ring and Jericho gets in a few chops. They run the ropes, Jericho goes for a drop kick and Sammy grabs him. Jericho is catapulted into a fist from Hager and Sammy covers for a two count. Hager is tagged in and Jericho tags in Santana. Santana gets in a series of blows on Hager and then tags in Ortiz and as he attacks Hager, Jericho gets a blind tag off of Hager.
They run the ropes and Santana tags in and hits a sit out senton and a moonsault press and a two count on Jericho. We go to picture in picture. On the small screen, Sammy is tagged in and takes the attacks from Santana and Ortiz.
When we come back, it's Jericho and Sammy working. Jericho duplexes Sammy and poses on him for a one count. Sammy fights back with chops. Jericho is able to grab Sammy and slams him into the corner. Jericho tags in MJF and Hager is tagged in by Sammy and Hager cleans house on EVERYONE.
Hager slams MJF and tags in Sammy. Sammy hits MJF with a cutter, and Ortiz tags in and takes a clothesline from Sammy. Jericho enters and leaves the ring for Sammy to attack him outside the ring. Santana and Ortiz take out Sammy and then hit Topes on opposite sides of the ring. Sammy takes out Jericho outside the ring. Sammy attacks MJF on the outside with a corkscrew leap.
Sammy drops Ortiz but Santana kicks him and he climbs to the top. MJF runs in and Grabs Sammy and Sammy reverses it into a rana. Sammy then runs to the top and hits Santana with a Spanish Fly and covers for a two count. Jericho comes in the ring with a bat and Hager takes him out with a big boot. MJF comes in with the ring and Hager drops him with a right hand. Santana and Ortiz come in to get taken down by Hager. Sammy hits a shooting star on Ortiz and MJF breaks it up. Jericho tags himself in and hits a lionsault on Sammy for a two count
Ortiz hits a blind tag and he and Santana flips Jericho and covers him for a two count. Jericho hits a code breaker on Santana for a two count.
Jericho and MJF try to flip Ortiz and he hits a double DDT instead. Hager comes in and takes everyone out, Sammy hits a Senton and covers MJF for a two count, broken up by Ortiz. Everyone is in the ring hitting quick moves and in the chaos, MJF rolls up Sammy with a handful of tights and is able to get the three count.
Your winners: MJF and Jericho
