MLW LOCKING TALENTS INTO NEW LONG-TERM DEALS, FREEBIRDS RULE IN PLAY FOR LOS PARKS, SEPTIMO DRAGON BENEFIT SHIRT AND MORE MLW NEWS

Major League Wrestling has been locking most of their current roster to new deals, PWInsider.com can confirm. The majority of the offers are 3-5 years in length with what one source described as a "significant bump in pay" thanks in part due to MLW's deal with DAZN, which has led to the promotion expanding their budget. MLW had promised key talents who stuck with the promotion that as the company grew, the talents would benefit and this is the company's way of trying to live up to that promise.
MLW has released a shirt for Septimo Dragon with all of MLW's proceeds being directly donated to the lucha star, who continues to recover from the hit and run accident that put him in the hospital, where he has endured numerous surgeries. You can order the shirt by clicking here.
Los Parks will defend the MLW Tag Team Championships under Freebird rules. There are plans for the belts to be defended in AAA in Mexico.
Richard Holliday and Hammerstone were scheduled to tour Japan for Pro Wrestling NOAH next month, but due to the logistics of the pandemic and being forced to quarantine for weeks, it turned into a logistical impossibility. The hope is that they will have the opportunity to tour NOAH this Spring, but everything is up in the air thanks to COVID-19.
BeIN Sport will air a two hour block of MLW tomorrow from 10 PM - 12 AM. MLW head Court Bauer noted that the episode that aired this past weekend was one of the highest performing episodes in MLW history:

NEW YORK — Major League Wrestling ("MLW") today announced Simon Gotch vs. Jordan Oliver in a Grudge Match for this Wednesday, January 20 at 7pm ET on MLW's flagship weekly series, FUSION, available on YouTube, Fubo Sports, DAZN, and the Roku Channel. Learn more about where to watch.
Originally signed for Kings of Colosseum, Jordan Oliver will finally have his shot at justice when he faces CONTRA's schemer Simon Gotch in a grudge match on this week's FUSION.
Gotch suspiciously missed his match at Kings of Colosseum. While everyone thought Gotch was MIA, it was all part of a devious plan to maximize damage to his adversary. Later that night, with Injustice's guard now, Gotch, along with his fellow CONTRA soldiers would unleash an attack on Oliver and Myron Reed.
Left beaten and requiring medical treatment, Oliver and Reed are now more determined than ever to get justice.
For 10 months Jordan Oliver and Myron Reed have wanted to get CONTRA in the ring or on the street. On May 9th, CONTRA Unit attacked MLW during the Super Series. During the chaos, CONTRA took out a member Injustice.
Since then, Reed and Oliver have been calling out various members of CONTRA, with Jordan Oliver targeting Gotch. This led to an altercation in September on Pulp FUSION where Jordan Oliver was jumped from behind and choked out by Gotch.
Now the stage is set Gotch/Oliver in a grudge match. Will CONTRA play a role in this fight? Will Jordan Oliver get some justice?
