HOW TO WRITE A STRONG CONCLUSION FOR YOUR ESSAY

By Kendall Jenkins on 2021-01-17 00:36:00

Essays are fun to read but better enjoyed with solid conclusions . A strong conclusion not only puts a feather to the hat of a well written essay, it also has the power to show how good a writer is as most times people basically recopy parts of their essay as conclusion. For someone who is looking to improve in writing, one may wonder if it’s difficult to write conclusions but not really if you follow some simple steps or sort the services of college essay writing services. How then does one conclude strongly in an essay?

To be honest is starts with having a good knowledge of your argument, topic .It is always very difficult to be able to write essays on unfamiliar topics because not only does this affect the organisation of the essay, the conclusion would be shaky as the foundation is already faulty. One may ask how it affects the conclusion but simply you can’t write a strong conclusion from a bad essay.

With a good essay the rest becomes a bit easier by following these steps , it's important to know that writing is like an art and constant practice also makes one's skills sharper and leads to visible improvement. Some sites like https://www.wiseessays.com/college-essay can help with written essays which can serve as a guideline and would be really helpful.

Firstly you have to know what type of essay you have written or plan to write , if it would be a lengthy one then, the first step here would be to take a look at all the paragraphs before you begin the conclusion as one of the disadvantages of not doing so is an untidy conclusion.

Make sure to use your introductory paragraph

So as to not get confused as to how to begin, start with the introductory paragraph and don’t make it look redundant with so much repetition. For example if the introduction had “ These fruits , apple, watermelon, orange are my favourite fruits” when writing you could go this way “ Apples, watermelons, oranges make up my top fruits.

Try paraphrasing of your points

Just like the example used above , you would notice I am saying the same thing but using different words. To do this one would have to mention the thesis in doing so, the same points mentioned are repeated but so that it doesn’t look like a copy and paste using other words would be great. Some writers argue that since they are all original ideas or work why can’t they just lift and replicate. Doing so doesn’t make the work enjoyable as it makes the writer look inexperienced and somewhat lazy.

Touch your main points

Your main ideas should be of utmost importance and since a conclusion doesn’t have to be lengthy working on the length is where the work is. To get this done make sure it's not as explanatory as the body but just long enough to be understood and we’ll start.

Make a summary of the thesis

This is where the reader is keen to see how? Why?  basically asking all the questions so one would need to be able to prove how he/she got the skills. So this is what you may do, ask the questions for your readers and do the answering too. It makes the reader feel it is better for instance in your essay you mention that “birds are better than mammals” .There are ranges of questions like how ?, why ? though your essay would have done a great job checking this, the conclusion would put the icing on the cake.

Link them back to your essay

You don’t want the reader to feel like the conclusion is different from the essay so as a writer it is your duty to create a visible connection and yet make the conclusion brief.

Don’t make new points or arguments

This is pretty much one of the reasons your conclusion would be lengthy because having new points in the conclusion makes your work look like a disaster. No matter how valid these points are, maybe it wouldn't be wise to bring them into a conclusion so if you can include them in the body that would be great but it may affect the organisation so its best to avoid them totally.
