THE NEXT THREE WRESTLEMANIA LOCATIONS ANNOUNCED

During tonight's NFL broadcasts on FOX and NBC, the following Wrestlemania announcements were made:

Wrestlemania 37 will be Saturday 4/10 and Sunday 4/11 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

Wrestlemania 38 will be Sunday 4/3/22 in Dallas, Texas at AT&T Stadium.

Wrestlemania 39 will be Sunday 4/2/23 at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles, CA.

As we discussed earlier this week in the Elite section of PWInsider.com, LA had been expected to be moved back to 2023 while Las Vegas was also a frontrunner for a future Mania.   

The decision to move the show to Tampa was due to the inability of knowing whether the company could successfully stage Mania week in California during the current COVID-19 pandemic.  Moving the show back to Tampa allows the company to utilize all the production and staging plans for last year's Wrestlemania that was shelved when the decision was made to tape the event from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

There had been talk the last several weeks within the company that Mania this year was being pushed back.  We are told that part of the strategy in pushing the show back is to give the COVID-19 vaccine a chance to take hold in order to, in theory, make it safer for fans to attend after receiving it.
