KICKOFF SHOW - AXS TV

They showed Moose come into the building, then Impact Wrestling Champion Rich Swann and Chris Sabin entering together.

Host Jon Burton, Madison Rayne and Scott D'Amore are the panel for the Countdown Show.  

They discussed the six man tag team main event and the switch with Alex Shelley out and Moose in.

They recapped the lineup for the PPV and aired a video piece on Deonna Purrazzo vs. Taya.

Backstage, Don Callis told Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers that he has Moose's two-year contract in his hands and Moose will decide to play ball with the, tonight or will spend the next two years being miserable.

They discussed the Eddie Edwards vs. Sami Callihan feud and then aired a video piece on tonight's Barbed Wire Massacre.  As they continued to discuss, Callihan hacked into the broadcast and told the audience to get ready to enjoy the blood, chaos, chaos (yes, he said it twice) and anarchy.  He said all anyone who is watching the show will be talking about after Hard To Kill is Barbed Wire Massacre.  He's bled all over the world, he isn't afraid of any man or weapon and is happy to die in the ring if he has to.  He said he is professional wrestling.

They aired a video piece on the X-Division Championship. 

Brian Myers vs. Josh Alexander

They had canned crowd noise under the match.

They went back and forth with some good action.  Alexander caught Myers with a kick to the face in the ropes.  They battled to the floor, where Myers was driven backwards into the ring apron.  Myers was dumped back into the ring.  He charged at Myers in the corner but was kicked. Alexander drilled Myers and climbed to the top but was shoved off the top to the floor as they went to commercial.

Myers locked a sleeper on Alexander as he brought him back into the ring.  He transitioned into a side chinlock and drilled Alexander into the ropes, snapping his face into them.  Myers stomped him in the corner and continued working him over with stomps and holds.  Myers drilled him with a right hand in the corner but was kicked as he charged in the corner.  Myers nailed the Flatliner for a two count.  Myers nailed a superkick but lost his grip when going for a back suplex.  Alexander drilled him with a big right hand, sending Myers through the ropes to the floor.

Alexander went for a Tiger Driver for a two count but Myers blocked it.  Alexander grabbed an ankle lock but Myers rolled through.  Alexander nailed a back suplex for a two count.  Alexander went to the top but Myers nailed a kick to the side of the head.  Myers grabbed him and nailed a superplex but they locked legs in a small package position for a two count.  Myers nailed a sit-out powerbomb for a two count.    Alexander locked on an anklelock but Myers pulled off his head gear.   As he fixed it, Myers caught him with a lariat for a three count.

Ace Austin and Madman Fulton joined the panel.  He said he's not looking to one match in particular tonight because Ace Austin shouldn't be just watching on PPV.  He said it's a waste of the most talented wrestler on the roster and of his time.  They had to go to break and cut his interview off.

The show went off the air with Madison Rayne announcing her retirement from the company after 12 years.  She said that it was time for her to go home and be a wife and a mom.  She cannot wait to see what all the other Knockouts all bring to their division.  Rayne will be sitting down tomorrow with PWInsider.com to discuss her retirement.
