WWE 205 LIVE REPORT: TWO DUSTY CLASSIC MATCHES ON A NIGHT WHEN THERE ARE NO WEIGHT LIMITS

We begin with a look at highlights from the first three matches in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic from NXT.

We are at the Capitol Wrestling Centre and your announcers are Nigel McGuinness and Vic Joseph.

Match Number One;  Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza (with Santos Escobar) versus Samir Singh and Sunil Singh in a First Round Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Match

Sunil and Mendoza start things off and Mendoza with a wrist lock.  Sunil with a reversal but Mendoza reverses and applies an arm bar.  Sunil with a side head lock.  Sunil works on the arm   Mendoza with a knee to the midsection and a float over in the corner followed by a shoulder tackle.  Sunil with a reverse monkey flip and he clotheslines Mendoza over the top rope to the floor.  Mendoza returns to the ring and Sunil with an arm drag into an arm bar.  Samir tags in and they hit a double back elbow and a double elbow drop for a near fall.

Samir with an arm bar.  Samir with a crucifix rollup for a near fall.  Samir with arm drags into an arm bar.  Wilde tags in and he misses a clothesline and Samir with a drop toe hold into an arm bar.  Samir holds on to the arm bar.  Sunil tags in and thy hit a double hip toss for a near fall.  Samir tags in and he goes to the turnbuckles and hits a double sledge.  Samir sends Wilde into the turnbuckles and Mendoza tries to interfere when the referee was not looking.  Wilde with a DDT to Samir.  Mendoza tags in and chops Samir and he hits a clothesline into the corner.  Wilde tags in and hits a clothesline in the corner.  Mendoza tags in for a clothesline and then Wilde and Mendoza with a double suplex for a near fall.

Samir is sent to the floor and Wilde follows.  Wilde sends Samir into the announce table.  Wilde sends Samir back into the ring and he applies a cravate.  Samir with punches but Wilde with a hard Irish whip.  Mendoza tags in.  Samir sends Mendoza into Wilde and Wilde goes to the floor.  Samir moves and Mendoza hits the ring post shoulder first and goes to the floor.  Sunil tags in and he clotheslines Mendoza a few times.  Sunil with an Irish whip and back body drop.  Sunil with a reverse atomic drop and spinning heel kick.  Wilde is sent to the floor and Sunil sends Wilde into the announce table.  Mendoza is sent into the announce table.   Sunil with a double sledge off the turnbuckles for a near fall. 

Samir tags in and gets a near fall.  Samir with punches and he puts Mendoza on the turnbuckles.  Mendoza and Samir exchange punches.  Samir goes for a superplex but Wilde stops Samir.  Sunil tags in and Samir with the superplex and Sunil with an elbow drop for a near fall that is broken up by Wilde.  Wilde sends Samir into the ring steps.  Mendoza with a driver and then Wilde tags in and Mendoza sends Wilde into Sunil and they hit side Russian leg sweep and flying boot combination for the three count.

Winners:  Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza (advance to face winner of Imperium versus Lucha House Party)

We see Drake Maverick and Killian Dain in the back.  Dain yells at Drake for doing what he is doing.  Dain tells Drake he better have done something about the music.  Drake shows what he did and Dain walks away.  Drake asks Dain if he will dance if they win and he says no.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two:  Curt Stallion and August Grey versus Killian Dain and Drake Maverick in a First Round Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Match

Stallion and Maverick start things off and they lock up.  Stallion with a side head lock and shoulder tackle.  They lock up and Stallion with a side head lock.  Stallion with a shoulder tackle and Maverick sends Stallion to the floor.  Drake side steps Stallion and Stallion is sent to the floor.  They lock up again and Stallion with an Irish whip and Maverick floats over and dances.  Maverick with a hip toss and drop kick followed by an arm drag into an arm bar.

Grey tags in and he wants a piece of Maverick.  Maverick decides to tag Dain into the match.  They lock up and Dain sends Grey to the mat.  They lock up again and Grey with a side head lock.  Dain with a shoulder tackle.  Dain gets Grey to run away when he sets for a punch.  Grey bounces off Dain on a cross body.  Maverick tags in and Dain with a back senton on Grey and then he slams Maverick onto Grey for a near fall.  Dain tags in and he kicks Grey.  Dain gets Maverick on his shoulders and he swings Drake into Grey while Drake wants to be let down.  Stallion tags in and Grey and Stallion with kicks.

Dain with a double suplex and Grey and Stallion go to the floor.  Drake tags in and Drake wants Dain to dive on Stallion and Grey.  Dain goes off the ropes and he tells Drake he is diving.  Drake is bieled over the top rope onto Stallion and Grey.  Dain sends Stallion and Drake into the ring.  Drake gets a near fall.  Stallion with an Air Raid Crash neck breaker and Grey tags in.  Stallion with a head butt and Grey with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall.  Grey with a reverse chin lock.  Grey takes Maverick back to the mat.  Drake with punches and Grey with a forearm to the back to stop Maverick.  Maverick lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt and he gets out of the corner to tag in Dain.

Dain brings Stallion into the ring and he hits a double shoulder tackle.  Dain with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex followed by a running drop kick.  Dain with an STO on the apron to Stallion followed by a slingshot senton.  Dain with a cross body to Grey for a near fall but Stallion breaks up the cover.  Stallion kicks Dain and Drake with a running neck breaker to Stallion.  Grey with a knee to Drake followed by a spinning power slam.  Dain with a back senton to Grey.  Stallion goes for a German suplex on Dain but he cannot get Dain up.  Grey with a super kick to help Stallion hit a German suplex for a near fall.  Drake with punches and kicks to Stallion and Grey.

Grey and Stallion kick Drake in the corner and they Irish whip Drake into Dain but Dain kicks Grey and sends Stallion into the turnbuckles.  Drake tags in and Drake with a cross body onto Grey while Dain hits a power bomb on Stallion followed by a power bomb of Drake onto Stallion for the three count.

Winners:  Drake Maverick and Killian Dain (advance to face MSK)
